Avatar- is this normal?

Hey- quick question? I have uploaded my pic to my profile, yet it's not showing when I post. Is that normal for now? Thanks guys.

It's in profile, so I guess you might have loaded it as 'Profile Picture' instead of Avatar pic. I'm not sure you have that option yet as I seem to recall you need something like 15 or 20 posts before you can have one.

I was wondering about that was looking and couldn't find a way to do it so ill wait til I have like 20 or 30 posts

Yep 20 posts needed, then a wait for server reset which is :20 past each hour. Something like that.

That's strange ,I put in an Avatar as soon as I signed up

You can have an avatar pic as soon as you sign up. You need 20 posts before the signature option appears to allow for that.

xxHazelxx has a Profile image uploaded - which is not the same thing as an avatar.

edg64 the Avatar upload is My Settings > My Profile > Edit Avatar. Go to your Settings page and look down the settings frame of the left side of your page.

Actually, you can post your avatar upon sign up - no posts needed. And you only need 15 posts for your signature, as explained in the link Rickajho kindly posted above:

15 posts and above:
Members can post in all forums, and can now have a signature.

Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 150 by 150 pixels or 5.0 KB

I had to re-size mine. Just Google re-size avatar and several websites have re-sizing available for free.
