I'm fourty-three now. Started smoking at around sixteen, and vaping in the beginning of 2009. (After trying some of the BS 'approved' methods... on a second thought, I managed to stay away from cigarettes for a longer time - about 7 months - when I was trying cold-turkey, than when I was using the patch... I believe there is a lesson here... :glare:)

Thanks to the e-cig, I managed to kick cigarettes in barely two days. Apart from maybe half a dozen cigarettes, smoked in the first year and just out of curiosity (to check that my lungs were actually getting cleaner), I have not smoked since then...

(How about that, you dumb ANTZ's and "experts" who believe the e-cig is not a successful quit method ?? Can you handle the truth?? No, you can't !!)

:p :p :p

I'm 29. I started smoking when I was 12 to try and be cool like my older sister and her friends. So after smoking for 17 years (and combining smoking with casual vaping for the last few) I have finally quit and haven't even had a drag in over 2 months. I fear that vaping is going to be more expensive for me though as I have gotten really into it and started buying mods. I even have plans to build my own extravagant DNA20 mod in the near future. But at least I am smoke free! lol

I'm 21 here, so 18-30 range. I picked it up just to see if I could switch from analogs to vaping, and turns out I can! Also wanted to quit because my father has been smoking since we was 12 or so, and I wanted to quit with him, I've watched him try many times, and I had tried a lot too, but he wants to quit cold turkey so I'm hoping me quitting can help motivate him, granted I still get my wonderful nicotine

Somewhere
30-50 age range. But a 20 years difference is very broad brush....

(..... let me ask you why you have a Dutch nickname while you live in Philly? Niemand = Nobody...)

You beat me to the question I was just about to ask :).

When I was born I was 1 day old, now I'm 56, so my average age is 28... Yes,, that's what is 28
If you were Korean or Chinese, you would have been one year old the day you were born lol.

64 yrs here and smoked for 50 yrs... never had a cough or been ill in my life ... since giving up work to care for my sick hubby, money's tight and I was always stressing in case I didn't have enough cigs to last until next payday, after buying basic vape gear + back ups , I 've broken even after 2 weeks already and look forward to enjoying my alternative habit as well as having more 'luxury' cash each fortnight ... awesome!!:2cool:
