I'm in the 50+ crowd. 63, to be exact. And no...getting old doesn't mean you have more "disposable income". But thanks to vaping...I DO have more money than I did when I was smoking!

I suffixed the entire statement with the fact that it was a broad generalization. There's no demographic that is 100% consistent. I have no money either. Lol.

I'm 50+, approaching 60.

Where I live, the largest vape-supply B&M has limited open-door days and hours -- Most of their business is online mailorder, so there's almost always a line and a crowd when they're open to walk-in traffic.
Any time I've been there, I take a rough count of the ages, because I'm always a bit amazed at how many are closer to my age than not.

Usually there are about 30 people inside the store. To my eye, it looks like an even split of about ten each between 50+, 30 to 50, and under 30 groups.
Of the under 30 group, most appear to be in their mid to late twenties, with only one or two college age -- which always surprises me. And here I was, thinking I was being so young and trendy!

I think that, despite the FCC's best efforts to stop smoking advertisements, there's still a "positive" stigma attached to smoking stinkies (smoke a pack of Reds, and you'll be cool). Watch any movie starring Leonardo DiCaprio or Johnny Depp and you'll see them lighting up repeatedly on screen. That, and most college aged males (I use males because most of the college aged females I know are some of the most patient people I've ever known) are just too lazy to take up the habit of vaping because there is a certain amount of effort that goes into really getting the most of it. I think if there was more vaping in mass media, there'd be more vaping in that particular demographic.

Again, just an opinion.
