Mine seem to last forever. I leave the tops off and drip them to keep them wet. No cartomizer gets constant use because I have maybe eight or so flavors going at a time, so that throws a wrench in my impression of carto life, but I have yet to have a carto die on me.

Absolutely. I lost a soft cap somehow and afterwards, just vaped without the cap. Performs much better now. I've read somewhere here that the new cartos work very well with drip tips too.

I've been using the hard tipped blank 510 cartomizers from Litecigs since about the middle of last month. So far I've had 11 in rotation between active use and cleaning/drying cycles. Out of that 11 one died completely a couple days ago after several use and cleaning cycles. I've shelved 3 others for sub par performance. They still work but perform poorly as compared to others.

I'm still happy overall though. I just ordered some more. They are, after all, supposed to be disposable. Incidentally, the very first one I used in the middle of May is still going strong - so far.

Good point here irwink. I should have pointed out that I'm using the soft tip mega 510 cartoz from Nhaler but the 'regular 510' cartoz he has there - hard tips - are a different breed. Probably not be the same as the ones you're using, but the 'cork paper' on the regular 510 cartoz goes quickly. The flavor in them is pretty good but they simply aren't for continued use and a drip tip or using a cart for a mouthpiece is a necessity with these, unlike the megas which are pretty substantial.

My 510 cartomizers have only been lasting about 2-3 days before they get that clogged up issue. My RN4081 cartomizers last at least a week to 10 days, and maybe longer. The 510 carts tend to taste crappy right away - I don't know what that is, but it's like they burn on the first drag. The RN4081 carts taste fine out of the wrapper.

The one difference: the 501 carts are blanks that I use with my Wetbox. The RN4081 carts are pre-filled. Maybe the Wetbox isn't getting the filler wet enough before the first use, even though I prime it according to the instructions.

It's a shame carts don't last longer. I have atomizers that are going strong after 6 months. I just hate refilling all the time, so that's why I switched to carts and a juice fed box mod.

I was given my first carto on 7/10/10. It is still going strong. I bought a stash of them the following week. I have 5 in use (heavily)..just fill with flavors that are compatable and keep on going. No problems !! I have one that I had to rinse out, it still works great too !!

Good Poll zoi !!! (how ya been ?)

i just started using blank cartos on my 901 around 5 days ago, i had only bought two to see how long they last and the first one i had dies within the first 24 hours, but i flooded it big time and I may of let it run dry.. im on my second carto and after hearing about keeping them topped up i figured it would be best to do so.. And what better way than to use my drip tip, and there are some great benefits from using the drip tip.. first the DT puts the drops right where they belong and you dont get juice caught on top of the spacer/oring thingy (lol), plus the drip tip eliminates any heat transfer to the lips, and DT's fit perfectly (well so far anyway)... Someone also made me think about another trick that could be done with DTs, if you are looking for a way to color code your carto use the aluminum drip tips that come in different colors. They are relatively cheap and I think if you get them from the place who makes T-tips you can get all 11 colors for a pretty good price.

i gotta withold judgment on lifespan right now, but i have to say its looking better and it may even be cheaper than regular attys (for me anyway since my luck so far isnt very good with standard attys).

I'm getting about 5 days on the clear dual coil cartos I bought from madvapes. I tried cleaning a couple but I don't have an air compressor, so that didn't work so great. Still, having better luck with these than my assorted eGo tanks - and throwing them away when they gunk up is easier than fiddling with the wick, cleaning, maintenance, etc.

Thinking about trying some of the CE2 clearomizers next.

I was wary of them because they seemed disposable. Then I realized that any atomizer is essentially disposable. The cost of the empty cartomizers are about 1/5 of the cost of an atomizer so if 5 of them last the same as an atomizer it is the same cost. I also noticed that regular atomizers may "last" longer but not really. They only really have about 2 good weeks and then start to go downhill. I didn't notice until I started replacing them and noticed the difference. If I am going to throw them away I would rather have better TH and flavor by replacing them every week or two than to keep puffing on a dying atomizer... I also like that the ones that I use have dual coil atomizers which are AWESOME!!!

I've been using SmokTech single coil 808 cartos from MadVapes for a couple of months. I use a single carto at a time, until it becomes unsatisfactory. I use something like 5ml of light-colored juice per day on a 3.7v mod. Each one lasts seven to ten days on average.

The one l'm currently using developed a burnt taste after maybe six hours. I was a bit disheartened by that, and worried that the quality might have gone down. l almost tossed it, but as I carried on using it, the burnt taste slowly went away, and was totally gone after two or three refills. It's on day seven now, and still working like a champ.
