Avid vapes 1.5ohm Clear DC+BB

Well i got a few different cartos today to try out, tried the 306 lr 2ohm earlier today, gonna have to revisit that after i get a 306 carto tip, the rubber plug was just letting too much liquid through.

Now trying the Avidvapes 1.5 LR Clear DC.

Its kinda fun (yeah i dont get out much) to fill, and makes squonk filling a no brainer.

After the initial no inhales vapes this thing produces quite a bit more vapor than my comparison, Boge LR 2ohm carto. It is much more flavorful than I expected given it is rated at a (combined) resistance of 1.5 (I dont have a voltmeter, sorry). So much so that I finally tasted that sweetness to bobas that I hadn't experienced before, its almost too sweet now.

The warmth of the vape is a little bit more than the boge, but for some reason, maybe the 1.5ohm, it has a LOT more throat hit than I'm used to (same liquid, strength just on the boge). So much throat hit caused me cough and gag for a bit, had a glass of water and went at it again. Reminds of the kid that keeps sticking his hand in fire saying oww over and over... Anyway lots more throat hit.

I'm gonna use this at work tomorrow all day and see how durable the clear tube is, it seems pretty sturdy, but as my wife will tell you I'm kinda rough on my stuff. This explains the otterbox on my ipod, miltary grade case on my ipad and why i got a reo in the first place.

Btw this thing is only about 1/4" longer than a boge carto and holds over a mil in it. My few 510 tips fit just fine as well, i think its a keeper!

dual Coil Cartos work very fine, they have two 3,0 ohm res stack one upon the other so the final resistance is 1,6 ohm but with a larger surface for vaporizing eliquid, and every resistance give a little less warm.
But you have to pay attention to blind squonk every 10 inhale, becouse DC drink eliquid like a dromedary and if a DC dries, you can easily burn it, and it is not really healty for our purpose

Well as an update of using this thing all day, it hits a little harsher than the boge, so my tongue feels kinda burnt/numb. I'm gonna go back to boges till I get my lower nic stuff in, I was still kinda hacking at the increased TH this thing gives throughout the day, guess I'm not a TH junkie.

It holds more liquid than I expected, and you can thermometer flick it when you see the liquid kinda drying out around the middle.

I had this thing in my shoulder pocket in my uniform all day when I wasn't using it. No probs so far with the clear plastic cracking or leaking.

I did have pretty good flavor through the day, consistent hits, but toward the end of the day I couldn't really taste anything...

Now to try the LR 2ohm version tomorrow!
