Wish I could help; I've been messing with both my photo and avitar to no avail, even though I can see my pic in my profile and think I copied the url right for the avatar....

You have to go to your settings and edit from your profile.

Edit: Looks like my avatar is working, but my pic not showing up

Top right, click "settings". Click edit avatar. You have two options at that point. You can either insert the URL of the image that you want ot use or use an image from your computer. If anything other than the jpeg/jpg image format is used, the forum software will convert it to a jpeg and resize it. You are limited to an image that is 150x150 pixels.

Keep in mind your avatar pic and profile pic are 2 separate things.
