How Did You Come Up With Your Name and Avitar?

I used a derivation of my usual email address and then to add the pic/avatar I did a google image search for exploding cigar b/c I thought I could find a pic where the guy has just fallen for that old gag. The meaning being smoking tobacco blows up in your face. Found a funny pic pretty easily and added it to my profile. I haven't seen it added yet I'm sure there is an approval process so hopefully soon. Some of these pics/avatars seem to be striving to be as disturbing as possible. Of course I used to like the Grateful Dead so I don't want to be accused of being in a "glass houses" situation.

My avatar is my baby boy. He's about four years old now and is either really dumb, or the most zen cat you'll ever meet. We haven't figured out which yet, but we're leaning towards the first. ;-)

Nope..I will go for Zen! Cats are much smarter then we give them credit for. The other night I was eating cheese and crackers, The dog got her snack and the cat was sitting there waiting for his share. I handed him a nibble and waited for him to take it from me (while holding the dog at bay) The cat put his head down..odd? He loves cheese! I again offered him the cheese, again the head dipped down..I looked closer and his nose was on the floor! So..I am slow..what can I say? I put the cheese down and he snapped it up!
He will get me trained some day!

Actually, no, this one is really dumb. Sweet, loving, playful, cuddly, but dumb. I've had cats all my life and this really is the dumbest one I've ever had. ;-)

His "sister" is very bright, just quite neurotic. I do tend to end up with the oddest cats.

My name thelook is just something my kids came up with for my online name, (had it forever use it on other sites, just easy for me to remember).

As in "you better watch it..Mom's giving you "the look"

The look still works on my kids today all 6 of them from ages 18-29

Remy is my 3 pound Yorkshire Terrier's name. When we don't call her Remy, we call her "3 pounds of evil" ...

I've used several "online names", handles and IRC names since 1987. Obviously, I'm not very creative and they were all in use here already.

As was, Remy. lol - so I just changed the spelling to Remie, and it worked.

My avatar (at the moment) is piano keys because I play piano and keyboards. Music is the one thing on this earth that I can do, and do well (aside from being a mom). I wouldn't be able to breathe, think or exist without music.

My name came about when I first got my pv...I truly believe it might be the best thing ever to happen to me since the analog habit started 30 years ago.
After I chose the name and started posting, I was watching a rerun of a "Family Guy" episode one night, and realized this is kinda how I act when I get a new obsession (like vaping !) A happy coincidence..........

I love mythology and particularly Egyptian..hence the username since Ast/Astet/Isis are the same. My husband goes by Osiris online and even our cats are in on the action. We have Anubis, Setesh, Sekhemet, and Apophys.

My avatar is from the Lenore comics by Roman Dirge. Lenore is called the Little Dead Girl. My friends call me the Living Dead Girl since I have naturally black hair, blue eyes, and pale skin. (I blame my Mother..hehe)

For my user name, I actually asked a buddy of mine to help me come up with a unique screename for Yahoo many years ago. He had a fascination with my long eyelashes so he came up with "DrkLashes" and I've been using it as a screename for years.

My picture is just my ugly mug imported automatically from signing up in the forum through facebook.
