Been using my Reo for only 4 days now I have noticed that the AW 1600's I am using don't seem to last very long, my Spinner 2 lasts much longer. I get maybe 4 hrs out of the AW's, is this normal?

Also my Xstar charger lets me charge at 3 different amp settings, is it better to charge the batteries on a low setting rather than the higher?

On another note I have ordered a couple of 8oz squeeze bottles to make my unflavoured ejuice, thanks again Russ for making something that seemed so hard, easy.

The doors on my Reos rattled a bit when I first got them, I wrapped some 1.5 in masking tape around the batteries and voila rattle gone.

How long your batteries last is largely dependent on your vaping habits, and especially your coil resistance.
As for charging, it's a general rule that the slower you charge batteries, the better it is for them. I have lots of batteries in rotation, so I usually charge on the lowest setting, on my XTar.

You sure it's not the bottle that's rattling against the door?

It happend if the bottle moves up the tube slightly. The fix is to pull the bottle down a little bit so it's snug against the bottom of the reo.

If you find that the bottle keeps moving up from squanking you can either do the cap less bottle mod or drill a smaller tube hole in the other cap that came with your reo. Smaller hole will hold tighter so the bottle can't freely move up or down it without serious force.

Also someone else thought of a o ring between the bottle cap and the 510 nipple.. so put a small oring threw the tube so it's right above the cap. Then it can't travel up.

Bat life will really depend on how you vape - lower ohms, long hits, chain vaping all shorten the usable charge time. It also depends on when you feel the need to swap out. Some folks can't abide going lower than 3.9V, others take it down to 3.6V happily.

Sooo... is 4 hours shorter than expected? Well, it is what it is, based on the above factors. Some folks can go all day with one bat, others need 3 per day. New reonauts often notice that they're hitting the new toy a lot - more than they previously vaped and maybe more than they will eventually settle in to.

Now, you should check to make sure you haven't got a flaky battery, though. If you have more than one (which you must), use them all in rotation to see if one or more of them lasts longer or shorter than the others.

If charge time isn't an issue for you, the safest bet is to use the lowest amp charge rate. Your bats are safe on all XTar setting, but as mentioned above, there is the thought that higher charge rates decrease the number of charge cycles in the bat's life.

Door rattles (if it is the door) can be handled by either bending (yes, bending) the door or putting tape on the inside base of the door. I'd prolly look to do either of those things before taping the batteries (spring drop issues per above).

No it's just one layer, door still moves easy, just took a edge off door rattle. Yes now that. I think about it I have been vaping more than is my habit, hard to put it down. The vape I am getting with my Reo is better by far than the Kanger tank I've been using since I got of stickies.
