I was charging my batteries last night and forgot them on the charger til this morning . Are they ok to use in my Icon? I was under the understanding that these particular batteries have an internal protection against over charging and under discharging, is that correct?

I don't want to use them if they blow up in my face..

Thanks for the help!

9 times out of 10 your charger has some sort of overcharge protection. the battery itself has no internal protection against overcharge/ over discharge, just recommended voltages not to go beyond. a multimeter, even a very cheap one, will come in handy to check the voltages of unprotected batteries like this before and after charging. you don't want to get in the habit of leaving batts, even protected ones, on the charger beyond the necessary time it takes to complete a full charge, but you should be just fine using that battery at this point. no blowing up in your face, but charging beyond 4.2V can present problems in the long run. great mod and great battery, btw, enjoy!
