AW IMR 26650 Batteries. Authentic or Fake?

I just bought two of these on EBay and now am unsure if they are fake or not. This seller is pretty new and he is the only one that has them.

That one is simple: You will never find a legitimate, authorized AW dealer on eBay. Ask AW.

P.S. It's not even the right AW oval sticker. It was changed to a different hologram about a half year ago.

P.P.S. It's RoHS on the real AW's, not ROHS.

100% fake. Don't use them on anything because you won't know the exact spec. or even if they are genuine IMR chemistry.

- AW doesn't carry 26650 batteries.
- The funny looking black label doesn't look legit. Like Rickajho said, a hologram label has been used since Dec. 2013.
- The ROHS marking is wrong. Should read RoHS.
- Recycle symbol should be hollow.

P.P.P.S. And it appears to be a flat top which, again, is .... wrong.

It could be anything wrapped in red plastic with FAKE AW sticker on it.

Since they are absolutely fake I would cut the wrapper off and see if you could determine what they are from the markings on the can. If they are useable get some shrink wrap and re-skin them.

I have bought a few fake aw batteries also (EBAY) from my understanding aw is using a new holographic AW sticker to counteract this. With the 18650's the easyiest way to tell is the AW logo sticker and the recycle symble being hollow and not the solid black arrows that are on the fakes. To be honest it could still be a decent battery as i have never had any trouble with mine even at .2 but thats the lowest ill take them.
