I'll have to contact the seller again (they have not replied to me as of yet and I guess now I know why) and request a refund. Isn't that against ebay rules selling items as genuine and not letting people know they are knockoffs? This pisses me off big time, I did this a couple years ago with an Apple charger and realized it was fake after buying it lol...

@Constantlybuying
Sorry to say, AW has looked at the link to the item & vendor you bought them from on Ebay. Over on the www.cpfmarketplace.forum. And says, (as was to be expected), they are indeed fakes. It's not my intention to tell people what to do. :) But your safety is worth more than what they cost. I'd dispose of them.

Can you fix the link you entered, it seems to be invalid, I need to include a link to this thread to the seller in case they insist they are genuine.

Who posted a secret PM link? Anyways I just ordered me some real AW's from RTD, thanks guys...I gotta be more careful about this ..... I've contacted the ebay seller requesting a refund showing proof that what he's selling is fake. If he refuses I'll alert ebay and paypal to what he's doing and contact my cc company and do a chargeback.

As pointed out already, they are indeed fakes... I knew at first glance as of Dec 2013 AW changed to the holographic sticker but the thing that stuck out most was the recycle symbol on the battery you listed was filled in black and the real AW is just an outline or the recycle symbol....

Very good detective work. I just checked all 4 of my AW IMR batteries from ProVape and you are correct about the recycle symbol. It is a outline and the picture shown on ebay is filled in with black. Thanks...

I haven't bought an AW lMR in a long time, but just went and checked the 3 I have left. They are the old red 200mah with black logo label with silver edges and no recycle symbol. Two of them I bought from Provape along with my Provari about 2 1/2 years ago. The other two came from Stormy's Vapor Cellar's local B&M earlier this year. They are all identical and the only way I can tell the older ones from the newer is the amount of handling wear on the ink from charging and inserting. I would say that Stormy's buys from a bona fide AW reseller for her store. She's been a vendor since 2009 and knows just about everyone in the business.

I tossed one a couple of months ago (one of the 2 1/2 year old ones) because it dropped from 4.2v to 3.6v in the battery storage box a few days after charging. Of the three that I have left one has worn ink and the other two are nice and legible. The worn one is the 2nd old one. They've been good batteries, that's for sure.

I haven't seen the new holographic label except in posts here on ECF and Google images.
