AW P18650 LiNiCoO2 & Provari

Hi guys,
I have a question about battery, does this new AW P18650 LiNiCoO2 - 2900 mAh can fit in the Provari, and if it does, will it last longer than AW IMR 18650 High Drain - 1600 mAh?

I wanna bump this - has anyone used these? Does the 3 dot prong matter?

If it can discharge 5.8amps... I guess my question is, will this be failproof?

We have evaluated all available batteries to determine if there are any on the market that will give better performance than what we are presently selling. It is important to know that just because one battery has a higher capacity rating than another, it does not mean it will work better on the Provari. There are many technical parameters to take in account. We are looking at various batteries to see if there are any that are better than what we currently offer.

We are aware that some customers are using some of these higher capacity batteries with mixed success. Some of the higher capacity batteries will work over a limtied output voltage range and give longer runtime over that limited output voltage range with certain atomizers.

Battery technology is advancing and we will always be checking out new battery technologies as they enter the market place. As soon as we are convinced, based on our testing, that a battery meets all our goals, we will be offering more options.
