Hi all,

I recently joined the Halo family about six months ago with a G6 starter kit (also got a mini tank and the variety sample pack, since then I have tried a few more flavours). That got me off the cigs for about three months until I lost the whole case with my batteries and tank in, which sucked and I went back to the stinkies. I ordered two more batteries and a new mini tank which has gotten me back on vaping for about three weeks currently.

Then the usual happened and as I got more into vaping I decided I just HAD to upgrade (who even needs a reason?) to the Triton system! I'm currently waiting on a order of a 900mAh Iridescence battery (did someone say funky!), a Triton USB charger, Clear Triton tank and some more juices, very excited to get my hands on this!

Now I'm thinking that I should have just ordered all the hardware I need in one order because I live in Australia so shipping times and cost is a pain, but that's in the past and I'm looking to place another order to round out my current set-up. What I'm thinking is this, but if anyone has anything to add then feel free to!

1x 900mAh Demon Red Triton battery
1x Smoke Triton tank
1x Purple Triton tank
1x USB charger (backup)
1x Pack of replacement coils 2.2 - 2.4 ohms

I'm feeling that this will round out my current vaping set up quite nicely, but I was wondering if the replacement coils are needed at the moment given I don't have a vv batt (will end up getting one later down the road)? or will the three tanks be enough to last me a while given regular cleaning etc?

Looking forward to hearing any feedback and I'm excited to be apart of the Triton family! :vapor::2cool:

Welcome Rawrb1n, I would still get the replacement coils. Let me see if I have this right.......you'll have 2 Triton 900 mAh batterys, 3 Triton tanks, 2 USB chargers, a pack of replacement coils and plenty of juice. This sounds good to me! A vv battery will allow you tweek your juice flavor.

And we have a Halon who lives in Australia, his name is Chesty so he can help with questions about shipping etc specific to your area.

Hello and welcome Rawrb1n! Nice order, although you might want to think about getting some mini tanks for sampling your juices if you're getting more than 2. People really recommend one of the juice samplers, and you can try more than just a couple at a time. Other than that, your list is looking pretty good. Stay with the coils tho. Very handy to have on hand.

I have the 1300mah Iridescent and it is so nice looking. Yours may not look quite like the pic on the website. People generally say it looks more like a rainbow coloring, which is very beautiful and different, (imho). But you are going to love it! Just enjoy all your Halo gear. Come and ask all the questions you can think of. Nice, funny, informative people here. Congrats!

Thanks Evie, that list is exactly right! Then I will also have my two G6 manual batt's and a mini tank to round up the entire collection :) I don't think the vv will be a part of the family just for the time being, but eventually!

Very handy to know, i'll be sure to shoot him a PM if i have any issues or questions :D

I'll already have the one mini tank from my current G6 set up, would it be recommended to buy maybe another one or two? and the coils shall remain in the order, better to be safe than sorry right? :p

From what I've seen on Youtube and on pictures there's a slight variation between every batteries colouration, and that uniqueness (although slight) seems to be what attracted me most to the Iridescent :)

Thanks for the warm welcome guys, I'm sure it will be a pleasant journey here!

Can't wait for you to get your order! It's kind of like Christmas again. And yes, I would add another mini tank or two. They are compatible with the Triton. Keep us posted as to when your 'vapemail' arrives!

It really is! I'm hoping the first order has already left the states before the delay that is Presidents day haha

and I'll be sure to add another mini tank in there :)

Welcome Rawrb1n! Everyone has given you great advice, so I just wanted to say HELLO and WELCOME! Lots of new members this past week to get to know. I have the Iridescence batteries, too! LOVE the colors, and as you have been told, they are not represented well by the photo on the Halo website. Much more of a rainbow effect. The colored tanks look really sweet on them, though -- especially the purple and blue. I didn't see anyone tell you to stock up on plain denture cleaning tablets for cleaning your tanks - they work great. Any drug or grocery store sells them for around $2.00 - just DON'T get the mint flavored tabs. The stronger juices will linger in the G6 tanks especially and make the next juice you try taste like the last. Not always a problem, but you don't want your dessert vapes to taste like Tribeca! Or Kringles! Hope you get your Triton quickly!

My iridescence lights up blue, blue lights up blue, purple lights up purple, pink lights up pink, yellow lights up yellow and the green lights up green. Not sure about the black, mocha or titanium since I don't own those colors. LOL

Black and Titanium are both blue and mocha is yellow :2c:

I'm a satisfied Halo Triton owner, it is a very good system. Here comes the however ... There is one little quirk regarding the tanks you should be aware of. I have had 2 tanks separate at the top ring, causing external leaks. The issue is the battery to tank connection has no give, the ring is not attached to the tank with much material, and with the fine threading you don't know when its tight, and you can overdo it easily. In my opinion, when you screw two things together it should bottom out snug, and you shouldn't have to 'feel' it. Eventually, the ring and the tank separate at the glue due to just being too tight. By the time this happens it may be out of warranty. It is what it is I guess. I'm not putting down Halo, or blaming them for someone else's manufacturing, just putting this out there to be aware of it. On some tanks you may have to half way screw in the light bulb.

Rawrb1n, just wanted to say welcome and it's a pleasure to have you with us!

I would venture to say that we have some of the best people God ever put on this earth within this forum.

They will help you with any issues or questions you may have.

Personally, my vaping journey wouldn't have been so successful if it weren't for these folks.

@ dead not sleeping....have also noticed the Tank on the Triton seem a bit wobbly at times..i been careful to tighten by holding the base instead of the Tank...i get it real snug then back off a "fine young Frog Hair".
just seems like it's not to secure imo, compared to a couple of other Tanks i've used on the Triton.

@ bravesfan, i got to agree w/you, some really nice & informative folks here!

Thanks for the heads up :) I'll make sure to keep an eye out and not overtighten!
