Come on folks! That old banner was awesome. That letter "E" formed by vapor was as creative as anyone could get. Keep it! I can't believe it's gone.

As a newbie I shouldn't even get involved so I won't do a John Lennon and Yoko Ono circa 1969 style bed-in to protest, but the temptation is there.

Heck I'd even be happy with this one (pic attached) with Cassie (MistressNomad) in it!

Well that banner that has come out - anyone with photoshop or ms paint could have created. Infact its amateur (don't hate me for being truthful).

I think there should be a design a banner competition.

I made that in fun and posted it in MistressNomad's thread stickied at the top of the new members forum. It took me less than 10 minutes to do it and it was not meant to be a professional job to be used as a real forum banner. In fact since I did that yesterday the 'real' banner has already been changed.

I don't much like anything that says 'cigarette' on it, whether that word is on a banner or on a forum title. I think it works against us, legally speaking at least. And like most people I think, I've always thought of the word cigarette as a dirty word. I just have trouble understanding why anyone whose happy about having stopped smoking cigarettes would want to identify themselves with cigarettes again.

You know something, you're right. I have to agree with that.
