So I've been stalking axisvapes.com in an effort to pick up one of these beautiful mods. I missed the production release on Friday and just checked the site to see that I missed it today. Does anyone know when they went on sale today? Do they post the times that they are going up each business day? I follow their Instagram, but don't do Facebook, so I wanted to see if maybe that is where they posted the actual time of day. In a perfect world I would sit on the site all day refreshing, but even that didn't score me one on Friday. For those that have gotten one - how do you like it?

Thanks!

One last time?

Can't believe there is zero hype on these beautiful stab wood mods!
Last time I checked they are put on their site daily. Haven't looked into buying one but they're easily attainable since they are being mass produced. I'd say just email them and they will tell you a rough estimate as to when they are available for purchase online.

I received my Axis Vapes M17 in today's mail, from last Friday's sale. It is nicer than I thought it would be, I am very impressed with the build quality, materials used, and packaging. I could not find one imperfection on my mod. Yes it is a DNA200, yes I could have gotten a DNA20 for half the price, but I liked the looks of these mods, so here it is. I know they went on sale Friday around 10am and all mods were sold in about 10 minutes. The only way I know of is the sit and keep refreshing method. They did not make a time announcement. What else can I say it is a sexy mod. A high end mod without the high end price tag ($800-$1200). I would recommend an Axis Vapes M17 mod 100%.

It doesn't matter the price of the mod as long as you are vaping and not on the cigs.

Thanks for the review! She's a beauty

So everyday, I refresh, get to the page with the mod, and it's already in someone's cart.

How'd you do it?

Just ordered mine. After getting the Sig 213 that while I really like. I know from the issues others it isn't going to be a real trustworthy workhorse for me. So the idea was that it was time to get a DNA 200. But honestly I hard a hard time with the idea of getting a DNA200 at $150+ and having it be a just simple case for an expensive chip. Maybe i'll get a Lavabox or Hcigar later. But I guess I just really wanted to treat myself for my first expensive ($100+) mod.

I got #858 a month ago and I love it. Well made, beautiful, and I don't find battery life an issue. It doesn't leave the house though because If I lost it I doubt I could afford to replace it. As far as release times are concerned, I think they just do a production run then post them on their site as they become available. I don't think they do the whole hyped-up carrot and stick marketing ploy.

I cringe enough when I accidentally drop my IPV D2, I just couldn't take it if I damaged that piece of art!

I would do the same as Sonic. It would be a never leave the house device or if I did only in certain circumstances. That said in 2 years I have only dropped my devices 3 times, 1 was a device I didn't want to drop and it just fell out of my coat pocket when getting out of a car, something I have learned to watch out for. The other two were devices I got to not care about dropping.

For craps and giggles I just went to check out the site. looks like they are all 375 bucks and up. I'm sorry, for a built in battery, 1100 Mah for that kind of money, no thanks. many of my mods would run circles around that thing.

Talk about a niche market product.

You cannot directly compare lipo packs to 18650s because they run at much higher voltages, so you need to use watt hours. The pack in the M17 has 12.21 Wh, which maps roughly to a 3000mAh 18650

Lipo
1100mAh / 1000 x 11.1V = 12.2 Watt-hours (Wh)

18650
3000mAh / 1000 x 4.2V = 12.6 Watt-hours (Wh)

I would have preferred 18650s, but that's not the design choice they went with. I also have multi battery boxes that would outlast the M17, but are no where near as pretty.
