I said in the forum that I was going to get a Provari. So, it seems, after talking to my wife about how much the kit with a couple of batteries would cost around $245 she absolutely refused to let me buy one. I apparently have to go like a year without smoking because she wants to make sure that I save the money beforehand necessary to purchase the mod! Anywho, with due diligence I decided to spend $40 on a Sigelei ZMAX V3 and got a charger with a couple AW IMR 2000 maH 18650 batteries for around $20. Much cheaper, I just hope I am happy with the purchase. I also have about 5 different custom flavors of juice coming from Mt Baker Vapor's in the mail soon. The only thing that I am in need of now is a decent tank for the top to finish off the package, and would love to get some opinions about favorite tanks that produce good vapor for that all day vape!

forgot to mention that I do have this The Trophy V2 Bottom Coil Tank, but i am thinking about giving it to my wife for her citrus flavored juices to not eat through her plastic ones. Better ones would be nice! Need really good flavor!
Maybe you can start keeping a record of what you spend on vaping and what you would have spent on cigs and once you have saved enough to buy a provari you could try again
Actually, the most important thing is to stay off the cigs and keep vaping and eventually you can get your provari. It was almost 2 years after I started vaping before I was able to buy one. Of course, you will have to make sure you don't go crazy buying all the cool mods and clearomizers and tanks that are out there! From what I have heard the ZMAX is a good mod to start with so you should be happy with it.
As for tanks, the only one I am using now is the Aspire Nautilus and I really like it. I am sure some others will tell you about their favorites too. Good luck.

^ That's not a bad idea at all. I've only been vaping for a week or so now, but I really like the Kanger products (for tanks) so far. I've started off small and have 2 Mini Protank II's currently. I know you're looking for something bigger than that by what you've stated - why not try the Protank II? Personal preference, even before I bought anything, was that it was going to be metal and glass (ie: no plastic) and I didn't want to deal with cartos (just preference as I know a lot of people like their cartomizers, etc). I use a Kanger Protank 2 for my all day vape. I also use a mini Protank 2 with my 2nd fave flavor and another mini for my ADV - these go with me to work. Protanks are great for tank cracking juices. It's pyrex, so no worries. I've dropped them, no issues. I've got one mini that has given me fits from the beginning, so it's being retired with a new Aro 2 I picked up yesterday. It's also pyrex, and covered in stainless steel. It's smaller than the Aro, hits better, great flavor and vapor. It's made my Smoktech. Really enjoying that one.
The Protanks have a removable mouth piece, the Aros do not.

For just starting out I really like kanger t3s. It's a bottom coil design, very simple and friendly by comparison to others out there. I keep a mini pro tank 2 if I want a flavor known to crack plastic. Recently evod has been growing on me heck if I know why. Are these the best tanks money can buy? Prob not. But I very strongly suggest keeping things simple at first. The learning curve can be rough figuring out how to trouble shoot issues and I've seen a few ppl get more advanced equipment, get frustrated, and quit vaping. After you can trouble shoot and feel semi knowledgeable look into rda. Welcome!
I have only been vaping for a little over a month, i went a little crazy ordering new things every week but i had good luck with kanger style tanks. My girlfriend has the protank 2, i have a dbox and a davide puritank both work well i prefer the puritank i have the bdc has the adapter to use bdc heads or protank heads. Also the protank and Davide you can detach the tank where as the dbox you can't. 101vape has protank 2 for $16 and the mini for $12 i have been ordering from them fast shipping good customer service. worldofvape has the davide for around $13.
I have 2 KT mini pros, 2 KT evods, 2 iclear 16's and a iclear 30. Of the 4 types, the mini pros and the 30 are tied as my favorites followed by the evods and then the 16's. Haven't had a bit of trouble out of any of them. Hope this helps.

I don't know if it's the e juice or the tank, but it seems that the Trophy that I am using produces a dry vape with my eGo.
For me personally for a beginner i would reccomend a mvp v2 and a protank .

You have got an excellent mod in the Sigelei zmax v3. I would recommend a Kanger Pro Tank 2 as your first topper. If you can find an airflow control base for the PT2 get it too. Makes the PT2 a living beast. If you stay with the chearomizer tanks, then, get an Aspire Nautilus tank. They are great also. Just saying.
If you have an iPhone/ipad get the vapemate app. Keeps track of what you have saved and what you have spent since you started vaping
I find that the kanger tanks are great for starting out. PT2 is pyrex and you can use all kinds of juices, Best of all their rebuildable so you can fiddle around with those before you start getting into RDA an RBA style tanks. A great way to get your feet wet before diving into that style for sure. Get a banner like you see on some of our posts below and it will keep track of how much you've saved on Stinkies, Then just keep a track record of purchases on vape gear so you can show the wife how much you save!
