Back from the doctor and ....

Been a while since I've posted but have been reading a lot of posts. I guess the noob excitement has died down a bit but still loving vaping. Anyways just wanted to drop a quick post as I occasionally see posts where the people jsut don't "get" vaping. I had a doctor appointment this week (first in a LONG time) blood pressure is still high. I decided to tell him that I've QUIT the cigs ... and that I've been smoking ecigs to feed the nic cravings and before I could say another word all he said was "Pfffft, but you're not getting the tar and other crap that will kill you" ... then proceeded to update my file listing me as a "non / former smoker"! Really cool as he is the one that has been with me through the patches, the gums, the prescriptions, etc.

Just wanted to share ... brag a little ... and let those that run into the nay sayers, there are people and docs that GET IT!

Glad to hear your doc approves...don't know about you but that would put me more at ease... congratz! hope you get that blood pressure down though. Is nicotine the only stimulant you're using?

yeah ... nic is my only vice now-a-days. Although raising two teenagers aint helping the blood pressure issues!!

Great news, Freddy! I'm glad to hear that more doctors are encouraging us vapers to keep on vaping.

Can't help you with the teenagers. Mine are all grown up and moved out, although they've both decided on careers in the military. Talk about giving you high blood pressure!

Excellent news! Great to be considered a non/former smoker, isn't it? I've heard nothing but postive remarks from doctors as well. Hope they pass the news along to their other patients.

my dr. was very happy he actually got on the internet and got more info and I gave him a business card from the place I ordered mine and was going to make copy's to pass out to his other patients wanting to quilt smoking!!
