You can tell by my details i'm a long time member but i feel off the wagon a few years ago.
I'm back.

Currently Use a eGo-T joyetech knock off, the batteries are stonge but the atties suck.

I've been through 5 different ones in a month.
I happend to come across some old pen style catros and loved them but no one reallys carries them any more.

Long story short i'm about the order the following, i'm hopping i'll find something here i like.
eGo CE4 Bottom Coil Clearo 1.3ml - 2.1-2.4ohm BLUE 1PC
GotVapes PHOENiX™ 3ml Bottom Coil eGo Tank 2.6-2.8ohm

am i on the right track?

BTW - this is all from GotVapes, i hope they live up to all the great reviews.

Welcome back lexer! I have not personally tried any of those specific products. i have tried the Phoenix XL (smaller) and the Phoenix products are all the rage right now. The CE4 I think is similar to the stardust, and they are very popular too. I think you will find some keepers in there, or at least get on track to your perfect vape. Clearos have come a long way, baby, so you should be happy with them.

If you know the name of the ones you used before, someone may be able to point you towards the most similar product. Or if you can post a pic someone may know what it is.

Hi, LeXer - welcome back, and you've come to the right place for latest cartos! Hope you hang out with us, and if you need any help, just ask!

I think you are on the right track, yes - it looks like you are trying different configurations to see which you like best, and that's wise, imho.

One note: CE4 (the Stardust in this neck of the woods) is a top coil, rather than a bottom coil. Which is good, because this way you are trying the best of both the top coil (Stardust) and the bottom coil (Phoenix).

The older style Stardusts (the only diff is that the tubes don't like acidic or cinnamon juices) are on a great sale right now, so it's a good time to try them.

I'm particularly fond of Stardusts, while the Phoenix's vapor is a bit cool for me, but there are lots of people whose preference is just the opposite. LOL

Can't comment on the dual-coil tanks, since I don't do cartos with filler in them - can't stand the filler taste. But those look cool.

I'm not sure if it's the same clearo as in your picture - it wouldn't be the same version, I don't think, since the latest version of the Extreme came out last fall...

Extremes are really good cartos, very reliable, and not at all fiddly. you have to fill them with a syringe or a special-tip bottle though (you probably know this, but just making sure ) If you want to try it, the best one to start with would the Regular size with the mid-range resistance:

In general, I would recommend sticking to the mid-range resistance on all of them until you decide which you like best, just so you minimize dry hits - unless you are sure you like low resistance stuff.

What one has Filler... It doesn't look like any from the pics, as i'm not found of it from way back in the day.

I'd recommend the short-wicked Stardusts. For one thing, the long-wicked are the newer version and are not on sale (maybe that doesn't matter... ), but, more importantly, I believe the prevalent opinion is that the short wicks actually wick better than the long wicks.

The dual coil carto inside the tank has filler in it.

Also, IMHO, you should get at least two of each carto, if possible - you never know when you might get very unlucky and get a dud, it happens with the best of them, so if you have a backup you are much better off.

Nope. But if you sign up for the newsletter, you get a permanent 5% dicount. You also get a discount if you pay with Dwolla - though once you sign up with Dwolla, it takes a couple of days to process the registration and add money to the account. I haven't done it yet, but I am a pathological procrastinator. LOL

Did you get the 3ml Phoenix that they currently have on sale? If so they are first run and might have a primer that needs to be rinsed off before first use. I know all the new ones that they put up last night are dry though.

and here's another question...

in words, what's the difference between a "Dry" and a "wet" hit.
Lets take a couple of things out the equation so i and maybe others can try to understand.
batteriers, atty's, extra all the same (i know they are not)
not acatual juice in mouth, etc... what's the difference.

i ordered befor the new ones we're up... so i'll rinse them donw just to make sure.

A dry hit would taste burnt, no juice or not enough juice to the wick or coil. At the other end it could flood and then you get a nice mouth full of juice.
