Hi ECF!
My husband and I were seasoned vapers, until about a year ago. We had quit analogs for about 8 months until an out of town trip with chain-smokers brought us back to the analog scene. Since our trip is an annual thing, we promised that after this year's trip, we'd go back to vaping with the end goal to be nicotine free by next year's trip! So, here we are, trying to wrap our heads around everything that has changed since our hiatus. I'm wanting to be a more active member on the forum (instead of the lurker I've been), hoping that the support will help us stay strong! I also love learning and fiddling with all of the pieces of the vaping puzzle, in the search for the perfect vaping experience.

So, here's what we're working with:
I'm currently on a ProVari Mini with an 18350 battery and an iClear 30B duel-coil clearomizer.
My ADV is Momma's Angel Wings by KBV at 18 MG and 60/40 VG/PG, rarely switching out for Mint Chocolate, Banana Nut Bread, or Cinnamon Danish type flavors...
My husband has a Vision X-Fire Wooden Spinner (he likes the look of it) with a ViviNova.
He'll vape anything as long as it isn't my beloved "ButtPudding" as he calls MAW.
We've ordered from AiV, Fuzion Vapor, KBV (obviously), Halo, Ahlusion, and our local B&M is Crazy Vapors.

If anyone has any suggestions, recommendations, advice, etc, we'd love to hear it!

Thanks for being such a great community full of knowledgable, supportive, and helpful vapers!!!
Looking forward to getting to know y'all better!

What helped me being around friends that smoked in the beginning was
-make sure your supplies are fully stocked (batts, juice and coils)
-have a few flavors you really really like
-if you are currently smoking make the transition a few weeks before the trip so the habit is vaping vs smoking
-this one may be harder for some than others but limit triggers (coffee and alcohol or whatever it is for you personally those are mine lol)
-maybe have a stronger nicotine juice than normal for the trip to help fight cravings don't make it your all day vape but keep it on hand for the tough parts
-remember its hard but worth it

Good luck and welcome back

Yea triggers are brutal at first till your body changes its habit to reaching for the vape instead.

Not specifically ecig related but habit related and very helpful is to change your location while doing the things that are triggers to help put a gap between you and the standard behavior.

For example if you usually eat dinner in one place in your house maybe try to eat it in another room. You would be surprised how much location changes habit.
