Getting back to vaping!

Good Afternoon ECF!

I've been smoking for the better part of 6 or 7 years and I'm trying to kick the habit. I started smoking in college, and for a short bit entered the vaping world with one pathetic mini. Unfortunately, I went back to my old ways. Currently I teach in Japan, but after a trip back home, I want to re-enter the vaping scene.

Recently, I ordered my components from fasttech, so now its the long wait for it to ship and pass through Japanese customs! I'm looking forward to vaping again, and I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions, especially about juice. Its great to meet everyone and I'm excited to meet everyone here! As we say out here: よろしく！(Yoroshiku!)

What up man! Same boat here... used to "vape" about 3-4 years ago with a damn Luci and then a Mistic. My buddy had a Cloud9 and we thought we were the shiznit. Then we realized the damn things sucked, and I was back on analogs, pack/pack and a half a day. Got back into vaping around March last year with an ego-style battery and saw how much further things have came since then.

Now I have more mods and other vaping goodies than I know what to do with. The world of rebuildables definitely took my interest level in vaping through the roof and it's been steady sailing since then. I'll admit, I still do smoke cigs, but MAYBE 1-2 a week. I have a pack that I bought back in December that is still sitting on my desk about half full!

Either way, welcome to the forums. Let's blow some clouds.

I see you're from the hometown! Grew up in National City yo!

I don't even remember what model I had, just that I bought that stuff at 7-11! My friends and I thought it was super dope, and then we discovered Vapure. (*sigh* the memories...) You're definitely right about how things have come along. I was lost for a bit, but after some research and digging, I'm pretty sure I can get back in no probs. Looking forward to starting up my lightsaber collection.

Oh damn, reppin Nasty City! That's wassup! I grew up in North County, but definitely know my way around the South Bay! Oh man, that is EXACTLY what happened to us tho, with the walking into Vapure and seeing what "vaping" was really all about. I don't buy anything from local shops anymore - as I get everything vape-related online - but, I DO stop by the Vapure near my house every now and then to pick up some Strawberry Mango Freeze (hands down, one of my all-time favorite flavors of e-liq!).

Unwanted opinions comes with the territory right? Haha either way, I'm looking forward to learning as much as I can. Might be too soon to say, but this forum seems really helpful and everyone feel really outgoing and welcoming to noobs. (good signs right?lol) Either way, I think this is gonna be a good ride. Whatup North County! Daygo all day, every day! hahaha yeah, I was amazed the first time I entered that joint. Just too sad I was on that broke college student tip. Sad times. But now we all grown, and gotta spend that money somehow! Better to vape than smoke them cigs! Man...shoulda picked up some juice when I was back.
