It's easier, for me it's cheaper. Used to order most of my stuff from Vapor4Life, and a few other vendors here n there, with the VaporKing / KR808-D1, but with all of em lately, cartomizers are different (different middle posts, in the same boxes of cartomizers) so they don't work on my batteries, so I can't use half the stuff I get anyway.
Can't order any new items either, because it's a crapshoot on what "type" of cartomizers are going to be in a box, or what type of batteries I'll get that fit whatever type of cartomizers.
vaping was cool, but even keeping with the same type of e-cigarette (808D-1, VaporKing, whatever name you want to call it today) seems like the parts change with the wind, even from the same supplier.
Tried 510's too; too much maintenance, I don't want to sit and fill carts all the time, hence why I originally switched to the KR808.

When I grab a pack of Marlbs from the gas station, I tear them open, and smoke. I never wonder if they'll light or not! And they always do.

Later vapers.

Sorry to hear that man. Although it can be a bugger sometimes to refill carts with juice, Its a minor inconvenience comparable to reaching for a fresh cigarette. Plus the key for me has been keeping juice on hand, especially high nic. As long as I have juice I dont need a cig. My worst vice was the Bar drinking but high nic juice curbs my cravings at the bar too. Pre mixed carts suck but since I started using juice I love it.
In addition most people will agree this is not only better(I use this term loosely) in the long run, but CHEAPER too (unless you went crazy with models and juices at the start).
Well I support these products because its getting people off smoke, But I do realize its not for every smoker I suppose. Good luck to you. Hopefully you dont smoke a brand that will be removed from the market soon, cause you may be back ;)

I can understand the frustration in buying supposedly compatible items only to find they don't actually work with each other. But the refilling all the time thing I honestly don't understand. I use the DSE901 which has carts with about half the capacity of yours and I find I only fill in the morning then around mid afternoon. Occasionally in the evening if I've really been hitting a particular flavor really hard.

Best of luck to you if you ever decide to try again, perhaps with a different model things will work better for you the second time around.

I agree, lots of maintainence, and worth every bit to me. The only problem with the marbs is that each one takes an avg. of 6 minutes off of your lifespan. Also, if you calculate the REAL comparison, you may be surprised. Yeah, a 510 you have to top off every 2 cig equiv. But analogs cost $$. In my state $5.50 a pack -more elsewhere. If you're like me you pay over 50% taxes (yeah, ya have to figure SS, med, and state inc taxes too), and if you're not your probably living on me (figuratively). So, you need to earn $11.00 a pack (would be $20 in NYC) and cig taxes are still going up ...just wait. So, when you calculate the time you spend earning that much, how does the maintainence time compare? Then calc the gas & time to get to the gas station. Now calculate that MOST insurance companies surcharge smokers an avg. of 30% in higher HC premiums. And try to smoke that marlb anywhere but hidden in your home or car. But, the biggest inconvenience in the end may be your family (if you're luckey) carting you around in a wheelchair with an oxygen tank attached. So, do the math.

I am so sorry that you are having so many problems:(

I have bought tons of stuff from V4L and have never had the problems you are talking about, I have the old style batts, new style batts, old style Carto's, new style carto's and they all seem to work together fine.

In the begining, I also thought wow it would just be easier to light up a ciggy.... no more filling, charging or fiddling...but for me it was just the craving for a real cig.
As for price....it IS cheaper once you get what works for you.

Good luck to you whatever you do, smoking is one of the hardest things to quit and even though we now have vaping sometimes it is just not enough for some.
Hope to see you back here one day:)

While maintanance is sometimes anoying when you are first starting out it becomes much eaiser over time. I've been vaping for almost 8 months and I never even think much about refilling and charging anymore. It becomes second nature after a while (like packing a pack of analogs and opening the pack. It is also worth any effort that there is, I feel so much healthier and don't stink anymore!

I'm sorry it didn't work out for you....:(

But, consider this, if you will, how many times did you have to run out for cigs? Toss your car or home looking for a lighter? Have to stand outside in the cold so you COULD smoke? Have to leave the vicinity because there was a, (or YOUR) child around? Just 'take' the filthy looks that non-smokers fire off at you? Have to listen to a lecture from either a family member, friend or stranger about the perils of smoking?

I'd rather just drip a few drops into an e-cig and I'm set.

I find, PERSONALLY, (no flame wars guys, not interested), that V4L's products are a PITA and their juice's tastes range from 'barely tolerable' to downright 'horrible'.

Here's my advice, get yourself an Ego, (no messing around with dead batteries, mine last anywhere between 8-10 hours and I'm a chain vaper), find yourself a GOOD juice, (T.V.'s A.C. jumps to mind), cut your polyfill in the carts down to a quarter, fill the cart with juice, put in your polyfill plug and vape away.

Sorry to hear we've lost you...please come back, it's cold out there.

**"When I grab a pack of Marlbs from the gas station, I tear them open, and smoke. I never wonder if they'll light or not! And they always do."**

Of course the matches could be wet or just cheap, the lighter could break or be out of fluid, or just a windy day can be a PITA. I agree that PV's can be a bit inconvenient or need maintenance from time to time but I bet O2 tanks and iron lungs would too. Given the risk vs. benefit between PV's and analogs.......I'm gonna stick with my 510 and deal with the occasional moment of frustration. Sure beats the heck out of lying in a bed, on chemo, with 10 tubes, a ventilator and a morphine button. Just watched my brother in law do that (may he rest in peace). Talk about motivation to quit smoking.

In any case, best of luck to you. I hope you beat the odds (50/50 or 1 in 2). Maybe we'll see you again. I hope so.

ahhhhh that's sad..........OK let's move on......he's one of the lucky ones, he knows what's out there and the tradeoffs involved......his choice and I do wish him and anyone else the best

move on vapers........I am educating at least 2 people a day (shouldn't we all be?) about ecigs and I assure you I'm working real hard on not being too pushy.....

tell the smoking world what you have found........and know without it bothering you that not all will make the same decision we have....but my experience tells me a huge percentage of them will thank you for the knowledge.
