This video is from a time when Rip Trippers was a more normal acting guy, and this coil build is an excellent and easy to follow tutorial. This coil works extremely well in both my older classic rdas, as well as newer single coil rtas. With this mail ban, what happens when you run out of your supply of premade coils in a year or two? Learning some simple coil builds will be to your advantage in the future, and if nothing else, there's a big sense of accomplishment that comes with building your own. And whatever else is said about Trippers, his early coil build tutorials were really good. So enjoy.

I also agree with him about placing cotton underneath the coil, having it set in a small bed of cotton. Goes against later practice but for this build it works well, helps to produce more vapor. Don't bury the coil of course, but how he shows it works very well. {By the way, the 1/8th drill bit size he mentions translates to 3mm id)
