Hi all, Joined this group originally Nov 2010. Coming up on my 10 year vaping birthday. I'm 63 yo. vaping has changed my life for the good. I received so much good info on ECF & must give a shout out to grimmgreen for keeping me vaping. Vaping 10 years ago vaping was a challenge to say the least-I've tried about 90% of what was suggested. Mostly a lot of leaks & failures to launch. Losing drip tips while driving etc. You know the drill. I'm stuck vaping Pink Spot's juices (stuck on Perfect Buns for 8 yrs), a cuboid mini & a cubis pro. Learned to vape like a girl & learned I don't have to piss on tall trees. I became famous for being a stealth vaper; some of my friends took 4-5 years to figure it out.
I have become incensed at ppl coming at me to stop vaping because of all the teenager vaping mishaps & deaths. I have like I said used Pinkspot for so long & my gear is basically the same.....I asked them,"why would I come down with EVALI over the last 10 yrs" I don't have anything resembling COPD like a lot of 60 somethings suffer with?
God bless vaping-changing lives one at a time.

Hi everyone! It's been a long ride;I certainly stuck it out and didn't give up.I've had leaky tanks, battery blew in my hand. (no damage) just standing in our break room. Figured out what my mod holes in the bottom were for. I'm 63 and vaping has changed my life & certainly saved me for another day. I grabbed onto every vid that Grimm Green produced h his videos. I bought at first his beginner setups. Perfect way to start-find someone that demos with high ratings and follow them. If anyone has the idea that vaping is cheaper than smoking, it's no: I was always looking for the next best thing. I still am back to where I came from. I have 2 mini-cuboids with cubis pro tanks. I get all of my juice from pinkspot.com. I am a very careful stealth vaper. I constantly set up an ego for anyone that asks; I bet I gave away 20 egos. I had good results and brought them into vaping. Out of my 10 yrs I always had an ego ready to go. I am still constantly searching for vape gear. LOLBest wishes to all, Chicopee

It may not be cheaper but it's a lot more fun. Nobody has 30 different brands of cigarette laid out on their desk with rows of different lighters and matches and fancy ashtrays. Yeah, this morning I think I'll fire up a hand rolled extra thin Turkish mix with my new gold plated double wicked mech lighter and flick the ash into a classic yellow marble swirl ashtray.

So long as you aren't smoking you're ahead of the game.

I respectfully disagree with the above statement.
It CAN be cheaper, when you get beyond the experimentation and stockpiling stages. I don't spend anywhere near $10/day over the long haul.

I respectfully disagree with the above statement.

If you buy designer juices, no, vaping's not cheap.
If you vape 20ml or more a day, no, vaping's not cheap.
If you are prone to shiny-itis, no, vaping's not cheap.

If you DIY juices or if you buy bulk ejuice at places like Heartlandvapes,
if you vape under 20ml/day and
if you don't give in to shiny-itis,
yeah, it's cheap as hell.

Also, if you smoked 10 cigarettes a day, you may not see any savings in vaping. But if you smoked 2-4 PACKS a day, you have to be doing something terribly wrong to not see even a little savings in vaping.

For me, vaping is cheaper than RYO.

"Learned to vape like a girl & learned I don't have to piss on tall trees"

Huh?

I think she means she's a low wattage vaper (aka tootle puffer aka not a cloudzbro) and does not need to "prove" herself as a "cool vaper" by having the "best" and "coolest" fad gear and juices.

But I could be wrong.
