So, after a few days, my AGA T2 works. Not well, but it vaporizers and fires without blowing up the first hit. Now my problem is this: I oxidize and pulse the coil before I use it, but I get nearly no vapor. I run anywhere from 3ohms to 4ohm coils on my 6V mod. Everything I've read about resistance says that should be the sweet spot for optimal vapor production, but sadly this is not the case.
I've read a few posts where people run 1.2ohms on a 6V mod, and my question is: how does this even work? By my limited knowledge, that should burn the juice, and the coil, almost instantly, considering the power is 30 watts.
I use 32ga kanthal wire and a 500x500 mesh setup, but to no avail. Do I need to pulse the coil multiple times (it seems to take ~20 seconds to fully light up when I try to hit it)? Is the entire thing supposed to light up at once? Furthermore, how is it possible to run 1.2ohms at 6V and enjoy the hit?
Sincerely, thoroughly confused.
