Backplate Colour

Hi folks,

Just a quick question about the backplate on the stick (where the atomiser and battery go). On mine the plastic seems to be a whitish-grey - especially white where the atomiser goes. Has anyone else seen this? Should it be black?

Im not sure what you mean pipeman,

The area around the atomiser and battery is black with the silver from the faceplate edging it.

Thanks for that, Cristens. Hmmm. I'm just wondering whether the backplate has heated up somehow, causing the whiteness, or whether it's a normal variation in plastic colour.

Both my sticks are all black, I have no idea what plastic Janty are using, it could simply be to do with the pigment used not mixing properly during casting. Most plastics come white and then coloured with pigments before the casting process. I doubt the discolouration is from heat to be honest, you would more likely see it down the bottom at the hot end of the atomizer.

Cross, I am awaiting confirmation re the PCC cable and JantyStick cable being one and the same.

But we will wait for someone who REALLY knows....lol

I was actually surprised they didn't put at least a 256MB flash drive in it.
It doesn't have to be usefull, it would still be a laugh to vape an actual thumb drive!
