Well, I decided to hit up Don after the glowing reviews of his products on this site. I took a leap of faith and ordered 30 ml bottles of Virginia, Maxboro, 555, and Honey Flue. I plan on a bottle of Applewood Tobacco soon as well.
I have been vaping for a couple of months and I am just loving it. I'm finally not smoking and have been on a health kick - eating better and running, biking, and playing tennis. I have lost 28 lbs. since my last cigarette on Memorial Day 2010. That would never have even been remotely possible without the e-cig in my opinion.
I was a pack-a-day (two when I'm boozing) Marlboro Lights smoker and started on Dekang liquids. I do like the Dekang liquids that I've tried, I wasn't fond of their USA Blend because the I found it to be overly harsh without a really good flavor and prefered their Camel/Desert Ship. I have also purchased from two other well-reviewed domestic vendors. I am on a quest currently for the most satisfying tobacco flavor that I can find. Not nuts, not fruit, not dessert, but good 'ol tobacco. I currently use a Boge 510 until my Little Sister gets here (hopefully soon). Sorry for the life story but I wanted you to know a little bit about the reviewer, where I'm at in my vaping life, and what I'm after.
For reference, my favorite tobacco had been Dekang Desert Ship.

Keep in mind, this has been my all day vape and I like it, a lot actually. After all, this flavor helped me quit tobacco so I have a soft spot for it. I am a relatively tough reviewer and don't throw out a lot of perfect scores.
Don was really great to work with so I will give this vendor a 10 on intangibles. He replied to my inquiry at warp speed in a very friendly and engaging manner. I told him that I had seen a 15% off offer and he informed me that he had a 20% on this forum that I had not seen which I thought was a really nice gesture. I liked buying from him and hoped his juice was as good as advertised from many on this forum. I received the product as quickly as I could have hoped.
So, how was the juice?
The first try was phenomenal, thanks for asking! I started with Virgina on a random selection. After my first taste, I knew this was going to be a keeper.
Taste: I found this juice to be silky smooth and very rich tasting, not overpowering at all. I really like balance of the flavor with a slight sweetness to it. The flavor is pure tobacco with not even a remote hint of fruit or spice. There is a very slight nutty tone that I can't really place, but I like. This is my favorite tasting tobacco juice to date. Admittedly, I'm relatively new to this, but it's not really even close. Absolutely delicious.
Score: 9.5
Vapor: Gobs of vapor without even trying with a stock 510
Score: 9
Throat Hit: This juice is very smooth and provided a good, solid throat hit, not unsatisfying in any way. However, it's not the strength of this blend.
Score: 7
Bottom line: If you are looking for a tasty, smooth, pure tobacco flavor you can't go wrong with Backwoods Brew Virginia. If you are looking for more than an invoice and decent product delivered, buy from Don.
This is the best juice I have tried in my brief journey and far and away my best buying experience in this hobby thus far.
I will be back to review the others in this thread. It will probably be a few days before I get off of sweet Virginia though.
