So I was lucky enough to place an order last week for Don's coveted RY4 from Backwoods.net. I placed this order after reading all the glowing reviews on ECF about this juice. I love RY3 from Myfreedomsmokes.com so I wanted to try this from Don. It arrived on Wednesday and I dove right in. My first impression is that it's ok. Not as incredible as I hoped it would be. I'm gonna let it sit for a while and see if the flavors develope a little bit.

Does it really get better after it ages a little? How long will it take?

i wasn't a big fan, but just like everyone said the flavor does change after a month. it gets a little more sweet and less harsh

I wasn't either. The tobacco base that Don uses, I really only like when mixed with certain other flavors. Ry4 from BWB just isn't my thing, ymmv.

I just got my order of BWB RY4 and out of the box it's not living up to all the hype. It is one of the first juices that actually has a tobacco like taste to it. To me it taste like a cigar with a hint of cherry to it. I am going to let it sit for a few weeks and then try it again. It sucks that you order it and have to wait a month to use it.

Most of his I toss in my box and in a few months they are great. Waffle cooks at 6 months!

I had the same experience with Waffle. It tasted like the cardbox box that Eggos come in. I threw it in a box and months later I was looking for something to vape while my order came it. It was ... WAFFLE! Steeping is a must on any juice, although some are good the day you get them. They are usually better if you wait.

I find the same thing with most juices that are made right before shipping. My Awesome Vapor Camel will be light yellow the day I get it and two weeks later it has aged and turned deep orange. Aging is a good practice, but it requires some forethought. You have to predict a few weeks ahead and order you stock appropriately.
