BAD aftertaste.

Started smoking again, dumb I know. Well I started to use my VK again and I keep getting this weird aftertaste after vaping. The carts are topped off, and were rarely used ones I had from before. Has anyone else had this problem? Or is it just me trying to adjust while still smoking? It's hard to describe but the taste does linger.. NOT cool, I cant make myself use it to get off the cancer sticks. They're my usual vapes from before, 555 and the almighty margarita.

Do you have a brand new carto to try? Are your batteries fully charged? When was your last analog?

How soon was it in between smoking and vaping? I still smoke about one cig a day(silly, I know) and I notice that right after smoking, vaping tastes pretty bad. It goes away after several minutes and the vape tastes fine again. I don't know why this happens but it does.

Remember that smoking ruins your tastebuds. It puts a coating of CRAP on your tongue so nothing tastes the same.

Try pulling off the little white mouthpiece. Sometimes your carto will become burned out. (The little heating element will begin to burn the filler inside.) This could lead to a nasty taste. Some cartos I've used can be refilled many times, some burn up after only 1 use. Hope this helps.

Thanks, I will def try a brand new one and see if that helps.. although I am still smoking, just the same as when I started vaping and I didnt have the same problem then. I gradually came of the cigarettes within one week. I need to do this asap because I want to go back to the gym, and I know I cant handle it while smoking! My battery was not fully charged either, so maybe I sucked a little harder. I guess I am going to have to expect to re-learn how to vape!

Whit, are you shaking the bottle before refilling. Also after leaving the cartos for a long while..I think they get a bit stale. A rinse under hot water does wonders.

I vote for the new carto approach. Just getting a bit too dry once seems to impart a sour taste that lingers, even after topping them off. Haven't tried washing; seems logical that might work as well.
