Bad Attys

In my first three months of vaping I went through ten attys for my ego e-cig. I did try some of the methods posted for cleaning them, but nothing worked. Is that a lot of atty's to use in three months? It seems like too many to me. It's no huge deal for me, I just returned them to the supplier and they were cheerfully replaced. Has any one else had this problem? I have heard of other people who say their attys last for months.

wow thats is a lot from everything ive heard. i only have one atty i prefer cartos myself, but ive had my atty for about threes weeks and use it daily. and it still works great. maybe try a different ohms rating.

I had the same problem, i realised the more i cleaned them with various methods mentioned the life span would decrease dramatically. Now i just give them a clean once every week or two and they they are going strong. thats my opinion

That does seems to be alot, maybe you got unlucky. I still have 3 of my atties from 2 of my starter kits (started alittle over 2 months). 1 died cuz it's my fault, it dropped on the floor.
It's nice that the supplier replaced them for you. Did the atty not fire up? Or just wasn't working properly? For me since I started, I haven't really have any problems with my atties, but I came across 4 bad batteries. But luckily they were all replaced. What I think it's important for all new comers is that they buy from a place where they cover a warranty. So if anything goes wrong it's cover, and we won't be so frustrated.

*Also make sure you don't make your atty too dry, always keep them wet while vaping.

you got a good supplier--who is it BTW? i go through atty's at about that rate (in fact i went through 4 ego tank attys in the 3 weeks and they are pricey. ) In addition to manufacturer and supplier i think the big variables are juice flavors and vaping style. Dark juice long continuous vaping until atty overheats--dead atty. Dainty sipping, light flavors--happy atty.

Thanks for the replies. I only buy from bestecigs in China. I live here in China so it's the best option for me. You are right, we all need a supplier we can trust, and they have been great so far. Some of the attys just died completely and others just produced very weak vapor.

Save those weak attys. I pulled some of mine out and threw them on my 5 volt box and it was much nicer.

I read a post on here a while back that said to hold the button down for 1 second bursts while you take a drag, it is awkward at first but it helps to not heat your atty up so quickly. Also try valuevapor.com the 4.5 ohm 510 atty's I've been buying are $5.
