Bad cartomizer? Is this to be expected?

Ok so it sounds like cartos are fine and I just had some really bad luck. So I feel better about that part now. I would also like to say that the vendor that I have been working with has done everything that a buyer could ever ask for to make this and any other situations right.

With that being said could a forum moderator please close this so it can sink its way down to the dead posts section.

No, I don't think it's common. I've been around here every day reading threads for the last 6½ weeks and have never seen anyone post about that issue.

I just knew no one read my threads

I have had 2 cartomizers - one of he new mega sized cylinder egos and one boge (not - LR)
cartomizers burn out 3 batteries in the last 3 weeks - see:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ating-killing-egos-what-am-i-doing-wrong.html

The cartomizers and batteries were bought from 3 different vendors - but all three vendors have been mentioned in this thread as being good vendors you should buy from and this type thing wouldn't happen :glare:

As I have extremely bad arthritis - packing and mailing back are beyond me so even though the places I bought from offer warranties I can't send things back to take advantage of them
:(

There are too many threads here to read them all. I'm usually reading in the Newbies Section most of the time.

One thing I do every time I screw on a different cartomizer: wipe the threads of the battery and the cartomizer with q-tips and kleenex to remove any liquid or moisture and black crud that builds up. I don't know if wetness can cause the shorting out problem or not, but I think it's a good idea to periodically clean the threads. Also, about once each day, I'll use some rubbing alcohol on a kleenex to clean the outside of the eGos and the battery threads.
