Pretty shabby that the whole world knows about this before us true blue V4L vapors and customers, enough said.

It is my hope this oversight is addressed today since the first hint was given on this forum on Feb 21st and the reviews have been out all week. Strangely silent..... you can hear a pin drop in here. Honestly.... you would think the forum would be the first to know the specifics.

sal997 thank you for your feedback and I'm sorry that you feel this way. Our newest product has been released to reviewers because we want to create buzz around it. We are not abandoning the Family here on ECF. When there is a full release this will be the first place we announce it!

I am only speaking for myself, so don't mean to imply how others feel, but strongly suspect there are some who feel the same. While I appreciate that V4L has their own market strategy, it seems unfair to forum members and customers who were touted with release announcements to be this week (as advertised on Feb 21st) and hints and discussions building up to the release. Oh, how exciting… you certainly had my (our) attention… Then BOOM… dead silence, no response.. NADA…. nothing… except for the various reviews on the web (not here). While I totally understand your motives in allowing the reviewers a sneak peak and intentions of building the hype, I sincerely don’t understand why you have kept us completely out of the loop of information. If you were trying to build up the hype, then I say from the way I personally feel, the plan failed miserably. We have always been a family here, trying new things and learning as we go…. We were in it for the long run, together, the shared excitement….. But I feel let down that the release did not come as promised (it wasn’t me that made the announcement of it being released this week – IT WAS YOU, and then to continue to ignore the requests for additional information, FROM YOUR LOYAL V4L FAMILY and customers. Well, I certainly hope how you can understand how disenchanted I (we) feel.

I know this is only a little speed bump in a successful business and new product launch, but for one I am not impressed with how it went… I trust the product is better than the launch! Only time will tell..... enough said..

Mystick

Just got back to town after well over a year on the road. I was flabbergasted, horrified, upset, red in face, stomach in knots, ...... off, that my family did not come first.

I APOLOGIZE

KICK ME

HIT ME

MAKE ME FEEL LIKE DOODOO

This was MY fault for not making sure I take care of my best and long term family and friends.

This will NEVER happen again.

Please, email me at steve@vapor4life.com and give me suggestions how I can personally make it up to you. I have inucted my staff to start to make progress in MY image, back to basics, FAMILY FIRST, threat my f the wayamily I want to be treated.

Thank you for your understanding

Used to be V4L would send out new products to user's of V4L products then ask them to test them and give reviews. The "reviewer's" were ignored as they weren't used to the product and their views were meaningless. "Back in the day" I was privy to some of these and was eager to do my part to help out. I also offered up services and equipment to help with the development of a new, one of a kind mod, and helped with some technical issues that came up.
While I am VERY grateful to V4L for all it did for me and the support I got from them and the community, I've since come to realize their loyalties lie elsewhere anymore. While I am saddened by this, life goes on and I wish them well, but until they can get back to the company that made them what they were, and continue this path, well, lets just say I can't support it.

Back in "the day" promises were meaningful, as was user feedback... in this New "business world"... neither seem important.

I thought I'd pop by the forum here to learn more about the new Zeus, which I've been reading about elsewhere. Instead of some inside explanation for long-time V4L fans, I see all the usual marketing and hype in thread after thread. And when some serious questions arise... almost nothing in response. Virtual silence. Reminds me a lot of the USA juice discussions last fall and even the time last year when the crew contacted me for help with new product reviews and then never followed through even after my reminder and another promise from the crew. All frustrating and even sad in a way considering how special, how different, V4L was a couple of years back. IMHO, the entire idea of customer service has changed here. If it weren't for Morandir's wonderful support, the situation would seem even more disappointing.

Ah well, times change. I miss the wonderful people here, and I know how much some of the V4L staff try to help. Bham, in particular, seems like a great guy, but he can only do so much. When I see little beyond the non-stop hype and non-stop sales (too many sales = no sales at all), I feel glad I've moved on for most of my vaping needs. If V4L ever decides to change course (unlikely if profits are up), then I'll be back for more of my vaping needs. Otherwise, I'll keep my fingers quiet here since no one likes a complainer. But I do feel for my old friends here and wish you all the best! And although I won't be buying any myself, I do hope the Zeus is as good as the orchestrated hype.

Thanks, guys. I'm usually not a complainer, but I'm just frustrated. I want V4L to succeed and have watched things change. If V4L dials down the hype, dials up the adult responses to adult questions, and allows this forum to return to a user-led place that's more than a shout for the wonders of V4L gear... well, the good word will spread. Or maybe not. Maybe I just miss the 'old days'.

Well said jeffree, I too want V4L to succeed, just want more of a positive customer service feel. I put in my support ticket on Thursday about the wrong batt that was sent and still no response. But BHam did respond here on this forum and I am happy he did.Working retail for so many years I know it can be a dealbreaker if you ignore customers so i hope they step up their game.

Ummm whats a Zeus? I think all company's go through growing pains but V4L has always supplied me with great products at a fair price I can count on one hand how many times I got something I felt wasn't up to par. When I used brand X it was almost every order yeah they had a 1 year warranty but man the constant sending stuff back and forth was a real bummer. I guess you cant have it both ways you cant have the close personal customer connection and be big enough to develop top notch new products at reasonable prices. I still feel they provide great support.

I understand Jeffree and the others' feelings .Not the normal way things are announced .I feel like they are letting this site go on purpose because they now have their own forum .Like i understand but why do two ?
BHam you are awesome but others used to pop in here too to say something.

This site ( ecf ) fans built them long before facebook or their own forum .
Now its practically dead ,as someone else pointed out ..it got divided with two forums .
Have you thought about how many people left here over the past year and moved on to other vendors and/ or threads ? 2 cases in point : there is still a question above in "ask the oldies " that no one has answered ( i was unable to, but pointed out someone would answer ) and i myself was ignored here on several questions over the last 6 months ,if they were answered at all ,they were answered by a customer who helped me .
Then did the same on the other forum ? My guess is quite a few ,and for the most part ,facebook is just another way to answer newbies' questions .
2 cases in point :1.) there is still a question above in "ask the oldies " that no one has answered ,( i was unable to but poiinted out someone would answer ) and i myself was ignored here on several questions over the last 6 months ,if they were answered at all ,they were answered by a customer who helped me .
2.) the trade thread here is NEVER mentioned on facebook ,or ecf in general .only "v4l forum " .So ..ours is dark .jmho ( i have no time or desire to post on two forums )

I hear what you're saying Nancy, but would like to point out the following;

Over on the V4L forum, peoples are just as mystified & confused and are asking what's going on here. I even ventured into Facebook land. I couldn't find any mention of the Zeus over there, which I found odd. So I don't think it's that this forum is being left out or in any way slighted. I think it's just that something has gone wrong with the timing of the youtube reviews coming out ahead of the product being available.

Hi Folks,
I didn't start this to rag on V4L. They have been great for me and I love their products. I just felt slighted about the Zeus introduction. It's sort of like the kid whose mom gave the cookie to his brother and said you can't have yours until later. I don't think they should have given it to some guy to tout on U-Tube before we even heard about it. I'm sure Morandear had one to test and that's good enough for me. I feel more than confident in his judgement. I think they should have at least told us about it, explained how it works and given a date when we could buy one. Heck, I may not even want one but I would like to know about it before the jerk next door. I know it's not reality but I feel like I have an investment here since I've dumped a lot of money in over the past three years. I'll still send people to them, tout V4L to all my friends and buy thier products, I just don't want to feel like the stepchild.
