Hi, I have been vaping about three weeks now started with a super mini I liked it but not impressed with the short cartridge life now I have upgraded to an 801 love it except after 5 drags it starts to taste just plain bad, I am pretty sure it is just the atty drying some because if i let it set a minute or refluff the cart it the flavor comes right back for a few more draws. How am I supposed to get the cart to wick better to maybe get ten draws (A regular smoke) or so between top offs or messing with the cart, I only get limited smoke breaks at work and it seems I spend more time monkeying with it than enjoying it, I have SLB high bridge attys, and have tried low bridge attys to same effect either one unable to get the flavor to stay for long. Usually when I add a couple of drops and it is not truly empty will get good flavor but it floods, I don't mind a little maintainence but I want to enjoy this thing longer than 2 minutes at a time.

Thanks

its in the filler material in the cart. It has to wick back is what you are describing and the bad taste is a dry atty.

I have the problem all the time w 801's.

If you have some new poly, restuff the cart and you just have to play with the amount of juice you put in. Seems like after they cart gets well saturated after awhile it stabilizes.

You can try the tea bag filler if you like. I stopped using it as It semed to get very brittle after a short time. Others say they love it.

There are others fillers too. do a serach for cart filler materials on here..

It takes some practice to get down filling the 801s. I usually just go with dripping and no filler to avoid the mess with the 801.

Hope you can get it to vape and not have to spend all your time messing with experimentation on the thing. !

I found this:

Janty Stick V2 owners - weigh in

... solves that problem. No 'old juice' hanging in the bottom from constant top offs. The juice gets pushed up so it's always fresh.
