I think so but with a little help. I put a peice of scotch tape around where the atty screws into the battery and leave a little area not covered and its vaping great! good flavor too. I get annoyed with my 510 that I have to keep refilling, dripping and charging. My 801 can finally gives me better vapor, throat hit and the battery and cart last half the day. The carts are so much larger and hold so much more liquid, I topped of a new cart and its lasted for at least 4 hours. I used to smoke a pack of Marlboro a day so my cravings are stronger with the 510 and less with the 801.

the 801 definately holds a lot of juice. I drip and get better flavor from my 801 than I did with the carts.
I'd have to say it might be the device you're using.
Higher power 5V or 6V on a 510 or 810 is awesome.

Your results are definitey not the norm but glad it works for you. Most of us who like the 801 or BE112 (even better) only like it with 5 or 6 volts of power. It's like the difference between riding a tricycle and a motorcycle.
My 801 is my preferred all day vape when I am out and about. I love the cool hit , tons of flavor, and low maintenance (carts and batteries last forever). Now that I have a passthrough for my 510, it is becoming a favorite for sitting in front of my PC (which I do all day most days).
I am home most of the time but not at my computer all day although yesterday I went out to a couple of bars and took the handy 510 travel charger loaded with a spare bat and some refilled carts. A little weird topping off my carts @ the bar and it causes quite a stir with smokers and non smokers. The 510 totally did the trick but now I'm back to my scotch tape wrapped 801 in the morning. I'm still new @ this and learning how to stay off the analogs. I am now 3 days without one and it has been back and forth as I learn these new tricks. Thanks for the replies
I use scotch tape on my 801 too, but I have to put it where the cartridge inserts into the atomizer. Otherwise, I have juice all over the outside of the thing, especially the battery. Go figure.
