bad idea to align button on the seam?

Someone posted a picture of his a little while ago that had the button on the seam -- it was a baseball themed one. I'm not sure where it is, but I remember that it worked fine.

ETA: Found it!

The image for the one on the bottom was not sized to be wrapped. If your image is sized according to the template that Poeia posted then yours will be completely covered like the top picture. Oh, and the switch doesn't have to be exact opposite of the seam. You can see on my Angels Chuck the bat has the seam down the middle and the switch is just to the right.

Anyone actually have their button on a seam?

That's much more what I'm asking ... one of the images is MST3K and I'd like the pointing arm to point right at the button, which will put it right on the seam. The other image would be much like the one of the bat ... with the button offset but not directly on the seam.
