Hey, just curious if anyone else has tried the MountDO flavor? I ordered some (1 box of carts and 2 bottles of juice) and..well, it just tastes really bad. I was so excited to see that flavor come out since I've always loved Mountain Dew, but when I got it...it had very little flavor, didn't taste anything like Mountain Dew. The best way for me to describe it was like munching on popouri. I had my friend try it too and the face he made was priceless hehe. So he thought it tasted bad too.

Just curious if you think I got a bad batch or does everyone think it tastes like this? I mean, if this is how it tastes, then I'd just lost out on some carts and a couple of bottles of juice..no big deal. But if it was a bad batch, then I don't want to just not order it again because I love Mountain Dew.

Anyways...here's the info

Cartos:
MountDO 18mg 12/2009 on bottom of cart

MountDO Med juice PRD: 25/11/2009 on both bottles

And yeah, I tried the juice on a clean cart...tasted the same as the prefilled carts :(

Did you keep puffing on it awhile to get it good and warm ... that helped a little for me.

Yeah, I continued vaping it for awhile just to make sure. Oh, and the date it was manufactured is on the end where it connects to the battery. Need a magnified glass to see it though, just so ya know.

it seems some people are more sensitive to the 'perfumey' taste than others. i do agree that some carts need a brief breaking in period. i personally didn't like the mountdo, but didn't suspect it was a bad batch or anything.

It seems then that I'm one of those people sensitive to the perfumey taste then :( I hate that...

Of all the fruit flavors I've tried, they also tasted like perfume too which is sad because I really want a good fruit flavored taste =/

So I guess this might just not be a bad batch and it just tastes bad. I am still curious if there are any that like the MountDo though.

i've actually read quite a few good reviews of it... the 'perfumey' taste has never gotten me, but a lot of the fruit flavs have this musty-dusty taste (mainly the older ones, though, the newer fruit flavs seem free of it, thankfully) that is a biggggg gross out for me, so i do empathize!

Oh? Which new fruit flavors have you tried or know of that are free of that nasty perfumy yuckness? :D

apple & blueberry tasted fine to me.

cherry I don't taste perfume, but I do taste cherry flavored cough syrup sometimes.

I don't like the peach cobbler, I taste mild hint of that perfume on exhale. But my girlfriend vapes it without complant. I'm more sensitive to it. She vaped like half that mountDo-4mg cart, I took 3 puffs and never wanted to see it again.

Pink lemonade..worst cart I ever vaped. I tryed to rinse this cart, I filled it with mint, and the lemon pledge just wouldn't let go. Ended up throwing it away.

Yeah, guess I'm not really diggin the fruits. Everyone's different.

To me:
Nuport Med Juice = Win
Caramel Mocha Frappachino = Win

Hehe yeah, that pink lemonade is tough to clean out...I tried and filled it with dark chocolate. Made a really funky chocolate with a hint of perfume :p

Yeah, NuPort's some good stuff, but I mix it with menthol to give it a better throat hit and better vapor. I might have to try that Caramel Mocha Frapp since I got a few coffee flavors and thought they were pretty good.
