Hey guys, I own a couple of Cigreen, Infinite and EHpro clones. I have maybe a total of 5 RDAs. Every last one of them has been terrible quality. My Cigreen Plume Veil's positive post becomes loose and starts spinning. Im only running a .6 dual micro coil. My Infinite Magma center post is spinning as well. I have an ehpro Tugboat clone, the negative post fell out completely and the top cap is way to loose. The screws on my helios clone stripped out after my 2nd build. Am I having bad luck or all clones really this bad in quality? For all the money I spent on clones, I could have an original right now. Im thinking about just investing the money towards an authenic. Will an authenic have similar problems?

I just received my Tobeco 28.5mm Tobh V3 clone... it's perfect, I have no complaints about it whatsoever.... Posts are tight, holes are good, screws are sufficient...
Got it Friday afternoon... already opened up and chamfered the air holes... gonna wait a little bit before I grind the tabs off. I want to see what kind of performance I get with the tabs still attached before I remove them.

That's so strange because I have a few ehpro clones and NONE of them have build quality issues. Is it the same thing happening with all your clones? Did you buy them from the same place?? In my opinion if you want a nice quality clone go to the hcigar Web site and you will get a very good quality 1:1 clone. Also vape royalty has very nice clones. In my opinion those clones will be as close as you can get to the REALLY thing. They are well made and of suprior quality! They are a bit more in price but it's worth it to get a good quality clone. Also they are not near the cost of the real thing so you are getting a bargain still. You might want to check out their clones before spending full price for the exact same thing. Don't give up on clones because of your bad experience because they do have some very nice well made clones. I would give them a try. I really hope this helps. Also, I probably wouldn't go back to who ever sold you the bad ehpros. They could have very well had issues when you purchased them. I really hope this is helpful and wish you the best. I'm pretty certain you will be happy of the quality of hcigar clones. Best wishes.

Unfortunately, clones can be hit or miss. I'm not familiar with Cigreen, but I'm aware of people who have had good luck with Infinite and EHpro; although, as I said, it's hit or miss. I save up to buy authentics, but even then I do research on where they are manufactured, since some of them are still mass-produced with questionable QC. What authentic device have going for them is usually more vendor support.

I have an authentic Svoëmesto KFL+ and a "Black Edition" clone (which isn't black lol!) from Custom Mod Creations. Side-by-side it's obvious the Svoë is better made, but both work well and if money is tight the BE is an acceptable substitute, based on my experience. Aside from quality and customer support, my reason for buying authentic devices is to reward those who have put the effort into original design and development. However, I'm not one to condemn clones in general, since some of the authentic prices are pretty steep; plus, clones often lead people to buy authentics if they like a clone, but want one of better quality. Although I do stop short when it comes to batteries and chargers. I firmly believe people should get name brands of things that might catch on fire.

Hopefully, you bought the devices you are having trouble with from vendors who will stand behind what they sell. Even FastTech supposedly has reasonable customer service, albeit slow. If you aren't already verified I highly recommend you do it. I have bought several authentic devices off the classifieds.

I have one clone which is the Tobeco TOBH 28.5mm clone. That thing is flawless. No problems whatsoever.
Here's some perspective for you, a girl on Instagram I follow got an authentic tugboat. She's having the same problem as you after owning it for 3 weeks. So authentics can have the problem to. It's just a hit and miss and I think you just were a bit unlucky. I've used many clones, don't own them, but I've used them before and none were bad quality.
