Bad news / why to keep vaping

Hey all.

Sad day here - and no, it's not due to PV or mail / customs problems.

My dad - a smoker with 75 pack-years - got hit hard with the cancer bat. One tumor for each lung, and a 5cm growth on an arm bone. Based just on this info, the median survival rate is 8 months. Still more tests to do, but it'll be amazing if he sees his next birthday. Still more tests to do, but it's obviously spread and is likely stage 4. I just hope he can hold on long enough to meet his new grandchild in Feb.

If there was any incentive to keep vaping, this is it. I won't put my kids through this, if I can help it.

Very sorry to hear this news....My step father past away at age 59 from years of smoking and i swore off cigarettes which let me to vaping and i have never looked back...i wish you all the best

I'm so sorry to hear about your Dad CdnBison.
If there was any incentive to keep vaping, this is it. I won't put my kids through this, if I can help it.
You've got the right attitude about stopping the cycle and I'm sure your kids appreciate your efforts.

Although I do not know you I am so sorry to hear your news. This is a difficult time for both you and your Dad but try to make every single moment count and don't leave anything unsaid between you. Be strong for your Dad's sake. My best wishes go with you.

CB, has he tried or looked into any alternative therapies. There are many of these treatments coming to light just recently.

I hope you can help him enjoy the time you have. I lost my mom to cancer but only had a couple weeks after it was diagnosed. Maybe the two of you can cross a couple things off his bucket list! Best wishes!

So very sorry to hear your news CdnBison. From my family to yours, our thoughts and prayers are with you. The road ahead is going to be tough but you'll get through it. My only advice is when friends and family offer help in any capacity (be it preparing meals, babysitting, etc..), take it. Hang in there.

Oh yes, definitely look into the rick simpson video, though I'm not sure his method works for lung cancer, maybe vaporising the oil?
