Last night on the local news for Oklahoma City there was a story about a woman who's eGo style battery blew up. This makes 2 such reports for this area in the past 2 months. Now my wife and MIL are worried that my joyetech eGo-C Twist are going to blow up and burn the house down. Though the thing is from what could be seen in the report the battery looked like it was a knock-off. That and the charger she showed looked like one of those for a smaller 510 battery (like a Blu ecig) and her battery appeared to be a 650 mAh or so manual eGo style battery.
I guess you could compare this to flying... Hundreds of flights happen each day and you don't hear a thing about them until one of them crashes, then it's all over the news...
