My wife is stuck to the ego size form factor. I have recently purchased 3 Vision Spinners from 3 different locations for her. My concern is that they just don't seem to last as long as on a charge other batteries we have used.

I have 3 sizes, 1100, 900, 650. I have 3 different ego chargers so I don't think it is a charger problem. Plus the chargers seem to work fine all other non-vv style egos. She uses Kanger T2s with a 1.8 ohm coil (which meter more like 2.0 ohm) and generally keeps the dial at 3.6-3.8 volts.

I have tried them myself on my 1.8 ohm homemade coils on my evods with the same results.

Basically we are getting lower battery life of 2 1/2 hours on the 650 mAh battery, 4 hours on a 900 mAh, and 5 or so on a 1100 mAh battery.

I would expect a good deal more life and just would like your thoughts. Is this normal for the Spiiner? I have generally used basic regulated egos in the past (along with some bigger mods). Should I buy another brand the next time...twist?...revolver?

If these are genuine Vision Spinner batteries, you should not be having this issue. The Vision Spinners and Joytech Twists are nearly identical in performance; they vary only in the control dial for variable voltage.

I may be wrong, but I question whether you actually have genuine Vision Spinners. They make 650mah, 900 mah, and 1300 mah Spinners, not 1100 mah that I am aware of.

Joytech Twists are available in 650 mah and 1000 mah. http://www.myvaporstore.com/Vision_Spinner_Joye_Ego_C_Twist_Combo_p/vvs-c.htm

What are you plugging your ego charger into? Best results are with a USB/wall plug adaptor like below. It is not recommended to use a computer USB port or a car's USB port as these may have less/more output in voltage than required.

Hi Bad,

You may be partially correct. The 650 and 900 have all of the markings of being genuine and came from litecigusa. The 1100 mAh was from a local B&M and has the correct marking on the side of the battery but not on the end cap...no markings on the end cap, so I think my local guy may have knockoffs.,,bummer.

I have 3 chargers...one came with a kanger evod kit, 1 is pretty generic, 1 joyetech. Just standard ego chargers. The wall warts are a mixture of .5 amp 1 amp and 2 amp and I usually use one that plugs in and provides two 1 amp usb outlets plus a normal three prong outlet...trust me I've used them all...and they seem to work fine with all of my other ego style batteries. I'm using an 650 mAhhevod battery right now that I charged with the same stuff and it's been going for 5 hours.

I use the Spinner 2 1650mah and I always have to charge it in two stages to get it fully charged. The light will be crystal/white when its full, not blue. At full charge I can get a full day out of it no problem.

Hey, I was wondering if anyone could advise me on the dangers of using sub ohm coils with the Spinner II ? I put a T3D with a Kanger sub ohm coil on the Spinner and it was really fantastic. But, I read somewhere else that I could either ruin the Spinner or cause a fire or something. The comments I had read were incomplete I don't know what to believe. Wouldn't my device just shut down before anything worse happened. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

The very first 510 vape pen I had was a 1300mah vision spinner. The battery life would normally last me 3-5 hours depending on how often I vaped and the voltage setting and different ohm resistance on a dual coil setup. In my experience I had issues with the dongle chargers and went through 3-4 in about 3 weeks before getting a different device. The problems I had you might be having, some of the chargers were bad and didn't charge or would claim it was charged by turning green way too fast or looked as it was charging but the charge only lasted a puff to an hour or two or less.
