I am sorry, but a key word in you post is "many". But how many - that is a question.

Throw tap water at a red hotplate or plain stove element and you'll get traces of chemicals, including carcinogens (there's a lot more crap than you can imagine in tap water, they just can't test for everything and I can vouch for it, as I work in a lab myself).

If you had any idea how many chemicals are actually even added to food you buy at the grocery store, you'd probably be out in the street yelling "hang them all!". Even the receipts we get from stores are poisonous to touch, yet we still live.

How many people die of cancer and yet never even smoked? It's just too easy to make numbers lie, but knowing what is the ultimate truth is the hardest thing to achieve.

Feel free to quit vaping if you like, I know I'm feeling a lot better with my vape than I'd feel if I ended up reverting to smokes abd there are a lot of testimonials that don't require numbers to back that up.

In now way I am trying to limit your freedom to be unconcerned vaper.

I do not see any other thread with the same initial source. It's a Thanksgiving, I am full of turkey and bourbon. Would you please direct me?

1. Thank you.
2. It is not a BS.

Umm... yes it is. That is if you actually bothered to read anything other than the tabloid interpretations you might come to the same conclusion. Remember - we are all exhaling "metal particles" because one pro ANTZ look at e-cigarettes found a "one" that had a loose bit of solder in it. And that means everyone around us is inhaling second hand metal particles. But hey, if that's all it takes for you to believe regurgitating this stuff is newsworthy... well that's just sad.

That is just a condescending attitude that shows you ignored 99% of my (all of our) post(s) or plain understood nothing. If you understood even the least bit about science, you would already know that one study means very little without any outside confirmation. If you understood anything about science, you would also know that journalists are definitely not a good way to learn about scientific FACTS.

Perhaps a more graphical explanation can help you realize the ignorance of "some" of your statements. If you are pressed for time, just go to 9:20 in the following video and tell us that looks exactly like a garage operation for making e-juice (please, feel free to tell us it does):

Guys, GUYS! I just ran some...uh...testing, on a bottle of water some dude with beads in his hair sold me at a concert for $10. It has 10 times more hallucenogens in it than the water I also...uh...tested, out of the stream in my back yard.

Bottled water has ten times the hallucenogens! Taking pre-orders now for my clean, healthy water from the backyard stream. Only $50 a bottle, payable in cash, bitcoins, or liters of 100mg/ml PG/VG

Sure this is Bad News? ... if you catch my drift? It's like a ghost walked right through the forums.

Are you now - or have you ever been - a proponent of Cisco atomizers?

If I was to cleanse my pallet... what kind of OJ would you recommend?

I see what you did there.

Well played sir, well played.

We already knew this. Several studies have already been published which found these same carcinogens in e-cigs. However, the amount did not approach that of a real cigarette unless the atomizer was heated beyond normal usage. In other studies the culprit seemed to be the thermal decomposition of PG (lower amounts of chemicals were found in heavy VG juices).

I would be interested to see if this study found the same. The Yahoo article (as is typical) didn't provide any of the details. As they say, they devil is in the details.

Japan study? you ever go to a casino, those cats smoke like chimneys...any chance BT is making a global push to scare people off of ecigs like they do here in the US? I know how I feel since vaping, I know it has gotten me off the smokes, I know i haven't hacked up the goo that i did when I was smoking...basically, i don't care until I'm given definitive proof that my vape is the same or worse than smokes. Unfortunately so much BS propaganda has been spread about ecigs that now every study is looked at as possible BS in the vaping community...so possibly someday we'll get a legit study that says ecigs are terrible, but nobody's gonna believe it

I would rather smoke a cigarette than reading anything on Yahoo. Yahoo is the lamest, creepiest and most obnoxious media channel ever. Look at all those so called journalists who write there, they are all no names and I use "no name" coz I'm in a good mood because they are all for rent. Anyone with a bit of money and interest in bashing something or someone can buy an article on Yahoo. Do yourself a favor and stop clicking on anything Yahoo related.
Stay away from Yahoo unless you're either from PETA or from the tree hugging association.

Now back to the topic I can only say this. I smoke for 30 years and I finally quit through vaping. I feel way way way better than before and no doctor should tell me anything because I know myself better than anyone. I breath better, I sleep better, I'm more energetic than before and I overall feel much much better. If through vaping I'll do a different kind of harm to myself at least I know I'm not a smoker anymore and that's a good reason for me to vape.
Japanese doctor my buttocks.
