Hi,
I got my ego-T today, kinda worried that it's some cheap chinese knock off as the shop I ordered it from in Greece had it shipped in from HK (I didnt realise this until after I ordered)
Anyway I have been getting a really, really nasty oily taste when trying both the atomizers that came in the kit, I tried blowing any primer out, there was none. I blew so damn hard my cheeks hurt and not a drop was on the tissue.
I have been trying for about an hour to clear this oily taste, I thought it would go once the wick had enough of my juice on it but its still there, so I fired up the atty without a cartridge in it and the oily taste / smell is definitely coming from the coil, im 100% sure because of the smell of the smoke.
I just ran them both under some real hot water and im leaving them overnight and will try and dryburn one tomorrow to see if it helps. I'm also gonna order an atomizer from a UK store because I'm now worried that maybe this taste is coming from whatever cheap materials were used (if it is a knock off)
I have searched everywhere for some advice on this and I'm getting nowhere fast. Are there any other tips for this? I cannot believe this is normal and I'm convinced it's not primer giving this taste, it's really that bad I cant even take it into my mouth.
Many thanks guys.
