bad smoky/burnt taste and dry throat with the 510 t and Cdn e-liquid ..

I've got a bunch of random questions, but mostly I'm feeling REALLY picky about vaping tasting so badly.

I've been vaping since about November, though I still smoke half the time and I've only bought the 510 kit and then the 510 T kit. I've only tried those 2 atomizers, I *think* a LR boge 510 atomizer and a CE 2 cartomizer. Now the LR atomizer was great for about 2 days (it died in under a week) and CE 2 tastes ok, but I hate it and get a mouthful of liquid every other drag. I also really don't want to go back to polyfil and I really don't want a cigar size or large e-cigarette.

My problem is EVERYTHING on the 510 t tastes BAD .. now I'm REALLY picky about taste and smoking tastes like an ashtray and I haven't been able to smoke without a drink to wash out of the bad taste in a couple of years. Now vaping is nearly as bad, sure it makes me feel better and tastes slightly better, but everything tastes burnt and kind of gross, with a bit of flavour. I'm pretty sure things are clean, wicking ok etc .. it definitely tastes even worse if I run out of liquid. Maybe I'm drawing too hard for a 510 ..

Right now I'm vaping with the 510 t, automatic batteries .. and I'm using 80% PG, 20% VG .. down from 24 to 16 mg of liquid from onestopeshoppe.com, using RY4, Players and a ton of fruit flavours.

Soo ..

1. Would I have any more luck with the ego t/c and better flavour ?
2. Has anyone tried onestopeshoppe's eliquid in comparison to something else ?
3. Can someone send me the list of Canadian suppliers that sell nicotine, before I can post in the proper thread ?

The ego tank systems are just as terrible. They're not worth the money at all.

Don't give up on the CE2, they're great. Slap on a drip tip and it's problem solved. You get some condensation build up or if you fill it quick you can force in some liquid to the top. A drip tip solves that problem perfectly.

Welcome! I started with the 510-T too, and after a week or so I found that the atomizer and tank performance really crapped out. I also wasn't enthused about the flavors I had, which I ordered from the same company I ordered the hardware from (probably not a company known for their e-liquids, which might be part of your problem too.)

I'd recommend ordering some new liquids from a company that is well known for the quality of their e-juices. Alien Visions, Vermillion River and Virgin Vapors are 3 good companies I've tried so far. I'd also ditch the atomizer and keep working with the cartomizers. I use a Boge LR on my 510 battery and I'm loving it. Supposedly the low res cartos are not recommended for 510 batteries, but they've worked great for me so far. Good luck.

Thanks for the responses. I just dug out my ce 2 and I have to admit it's soo much better than then 510 tank atomizer. I'm just really hooked on the ease of the tanks and I've so many problems with cartomizers. I wish there was a good/easy tank solution, even if the flavour wasn't amazing.

Much better to either use Clearomizers or a carto with tank IMO. I always advise to buy a PV and then afterwards add a tank or clearo.
