Hello all: Today is 1 month smoke free ! After 33 years of smoking I finally quit, with the help of vaping. I have not experienced the usual withdrawels (coughing, bad dreams,etc..) However, for the past few days I have had a very sore throat pain just on the left side. Visiting my doc this week, but just wondered if anyone has had this experience? I have read that PG can cause the throat pain and I will be trying some VG johnson creek juice this week. I have only been vaping V2 red, 1.8's. Any/all thoughts, comments. suggestions, would be greatly appreciated. Vape On !

Was also going to suggest a pg problem, what ratio of pg/vg is your current juice?
Funny you mention this.... Been going through is for the last 2-3 days also, after trying a new wicking material. Just 1 side and not all of the time(no pain eating or drinking), kinda feels how I would imagine a slight paper cut inside at times. Stopped using the 116 wick, and waiting to see if it does away, but will be following this thread.
Strep throat is going around here. Last week my throat felt funny. But no swollen glands. I started gargling with salt water but it wasn't helping. By Friday night only one gland was swollen and it was the weirdest sore throat I'd ever had (no fever, chills or aches) I was sure it was from vaping. (I recently purchased 50/50 juice for the first time ever and was using it). I went to urgent care and was diagnosed with strep. After the antibiotic was gone my throat continue to not feel right. I'm thinking the 50% pg may have irritated it or maybe I have a sensitivity to pg. I went back to 100% vg. Good luck with dr visit.
if they did a lil test on you and it's strep for sure, it's just a bacterial infection. Take ALL of your antibiotics and drink plenty of fluids..hope you feel better!!!
A few people I know have a bit of a cold. Hope you feel better! Vape on the other side
