I tried a liquorice or anise type juice in my Crown and Arctic. Even after changing the coils and juice, I still get a nasty aftertaste from that ejuice.

What can I do to exorcise that nasty taste? I am traveling now for work, so boiling is not an option.

I took the tanks apart and rinsed, but I still taste anise......yuck!!

Thanks very much for any suggestions.

Anise can be tough. You can try several things--a soak in vodka or PGA (if you can get it) or Isopropyl alcohol (91%) followed by a thorough rinse with plenty of water. You could try a vinegar soak or a solution of water and baking soda (don't combine the two). You may want to remove the washers and grommets so you don't damage them.

That flavor will dissipate, eventually, especially if your tanks are glass. If plastic, it may take a longer time. '

Cinnamon and some menthols are just as difficult to deal with.

Good luck.
