bad taste

Howdy,
Bought my first e cig and it arrived today, its a ego. Tried getting as much primer off the atty as possible by blowing through it and putting a couple drops of juice on it, but it still tastes really bad. HELP

What atty, and how many drops exactly? Are you getting much vapor?

Maybe you flooded it and are burning the juice?

When I got mine, It tasted like crap for a good 3 hours.

I think its a regular 510 atty it came with the ego purchased from cignot.I put 2 drops on it and I'm getting good vapor and TH, it just tastes nasty, not burnt tasting or anything like that. I was just hoping not to suffer though the bad taste.

I'd say give it a few hours of vaping time to shape up. Is it possible your juice that tastes bad?

I don't think its the juice, because I also tried some plain unflavored PG on it and its still the same yucky taste. Guess I just need to use it till the taste improves.

Trying a few different juices would be a good place to start but before they get to you I would look at how often you're taking hits off your e-cig. If you are chain vaping your not giving your atomizer time to get wet again and the taste will be horrible from what I've expierenced.
Also, be sure to keep your cartridges filled so the ploy fill doesn't dry out, that may help with the flavor.

It's best to clean the primer out before vaping. Use pure grain alcohol (Everclear) if possible, otherwise high-proof vodka. I soak mine using a 35mm film cannister, then blow them out from the cartridge end. Then prime with 4 drops.

You can still clean it out even though you've primed it with a bit of juice.

Or, you can just give it a bit of time.

Just got TW Tornado on last Tuesday. First couple of hours using....terrible test (especially with LR atomizer) but just keep blowing the atty and dripping...primer taste goes away.

BTW....cherry cola doesn't work with Tornado / eGo...taste is crap. It works with my DSE-901 but Tornado...no way.

Have you added more than 2 drops at a time? I noticed when I first started I had to put 3-4 drops on a (dry) atomizer to prime it, then only 2 or so from there on out.

OR you can just put the atty under running HOT water from the sink... Seems to work fine for me.

Thanks for the help guys, the vodka bath really helped a lot. Now I just need to find a juice I like. I'm using Marlboro 18mg right now and it has a sweet aftertaste to me that I just don't like. And it is way to strong, about 3 or 4 vapes and my head starts to spin lol.

I cleaned one of my used attys yesterday. Let it dry and all, and i tried using it. Is there a possibility it went bad? It taste like crap. How long should I get it!?
