Sorry can't really help then - I have had an off taste with some kinds of new cotton for the first few draws but then it has gone away as the wick really picked up the taste of the liquid and got broken in.

Did you disassemble the RDA completely so you could clean it properly?
Is the wire clean?
Did you have any residues on your fingers while building?
Does the liquid base taste bad on its own?

He drips before vaping.
Neither spaced nor contact coils make a flavorless liquid base taste bad.
I notice that RDA is designed for dual coils. Are you aligning the airflow holes properly with the coil?
Are there any hotspots in the coil? ie coil not firing evenly from the inside out.
I personally would yank out the build and try again. Wire is cheap compared to the misery of a build that is not working.

Is that a regulated or a mech mod? If it is regulated, have you tried running it at a lower wattage? And if it is a mech mod, are you sure the coil is the same ohms that you have been using on other setups?
It might help if you could give us a bit more info on the taste itself - burnt, like it would be if you were chewing a cigarette end, bitter or whatever...

i cant setup dual coils because one coil is around .3 ohm,(it is going to be a C4 on dual coils

airflow is directly thru the coil,
it do taste like some kind of plasticy or drugy thing ,gross,
dazzled my tongue,
coil is working properly,
no burnt taste, i keep it wet while vaping.

I do wonder if you are simply tasting the base nicotine - maybe try a little menthol or mint taste in your liquid.

I washed my whole rda.
Will give it a hit when it is dry. Hope this solves.

While you have it taken apart to clean it. Check your insulators in the RDA. Plasticy taste sort of makes me think you might be burning/melting them.
To set up dual coils you would need TWO .6 ohm coils and that would put you right back at .3 ohms overall.
Isn't that the case with all these types of threads though lol
