Bad weekend in vaping

2 days ago my ego passthru quit working with the end cap off at the usb connection. It still charges and vapes fine as long as the end cap is screwed on. I can no longer use the passthru option.

Yesterday my brand new cisco lr 306 atty died after a couple of puffs along with the hello 16 battery it was on. The botton quit flashing and stays on!

nothing is under warranty...I guess the vaping gods are mad at me!

Sorry to hear about your troubles. I don't know what to tell you about the LR atty and your helo16 battery, since I don't use those. Have you tried using your PT connected to a wall wart or a different USB connection?

Do you have a voltmeter. Check the atty.

Don't use an LR atty on an Ego or hello. The battery is strong enough but the switch will go out on you.

That's good, I agree with Brad, don't use any LR atty's with your eGo or you may kill that battery too.

I guess it's time to "step up" and get a mod!

If you want to use the LR attys, then it probably is time for you to get into mods. I've seen a couple of reviews about using the 306 LR atty with an eGo battery, but I still don't want to take the chance on killing my batteries.

Welcome to the wonderful world of E-cigs. If possible you might try building a simple mod of your own. That way when it breaks you'll be able to fix it or build another one.And for a lot less money.Good luck.

my son has been using an 510 LR atty's on his EGO since April of this year with no problems,i on the other hand have gone thru three EGO batteries with stock 510 atty's,go figure?

My eGo USB Batt just died on me as well, it rolled off my desk and now no longer powers anything. Still charges, light on the button still comes on, but just doesn't power any atomizers. I think something inside was loose (it rattles a little now). But I was lucky, 1 week before the warranty ran out and Janty sent out a replacement the next day. Unfortunately it is coming out of Europe due to their US supply issues... so it'll be a while.
