I have seen some of Baditude's responses lately & wonder how/what in the world he is doing....?

God is it nice to see some ground gained enough to rejoin us again.

If Bad has a moment an update of how your doing would be greatly appreciated by most, I'm sure.
I especially hope that things are better now.

Always felt like getting a "Like" from Bad was as if you'd just gotten a gold star.....ha.

Anyone know what's up? or, did I miss a thread on this? Can someone find that thread for me? Really would like to know...

Welcome home Baditude.

JC

I've been in touch with him a couple times. He's still at his brother's (and I think still looking for a job although he didn't say so outright).

He occasionally can get to the Library, and spends a bit of time on ECF when he's there, but it's maybe a once-a-week kind of deal.

I know what you mean about the Gold Star!

ETA: By the way, Today's his birthday!

Heh... I know what you mean! Heck, just seeing his name on my "Last 10 Visitors" window a while back was quite the personal accomplishment!

Ranks right up there with a visit from lanceq! :D

When I first signed up at ECF I was under Dr's care and on a lot of Meds, powerful meds. One night words got twisted and I over reacted and said some questionable things. In my mind, through the fog of illness and many meds, I was standing my ground....Later on I re-read my postings and realized I'd been insensitive and asinine. A few weeks later when I was feeling better and more myself I sat down and wrote Baditude a heartfelt apology letter. I didn't know if he'd write me back or not. The next day I signed in and checked my inbox hoping for a response from Bad and he had responded in a very classy manner....He had added me as a friend. That action said more than 1,000 PM's could have. Pure and simple, He is one of the classiest guys on these boards and I miss him. Come back soon Bad, You're needed and missed.

Anyone know what day Bad gets on the site?

Sure would be nice to have him back like the good ol' days.....

Thanks for the thoughts and concerns.

I am still living with my brother. I'm fortunate that I can live with him as he is providing me food and shelter; yet I don't want to be a burden on him. I am dead broke, no job, no financial assistance yet. I am currently in the long process in my applications for medical disability, supplimental disability, and early pension plan application. Looking to see if I am eligible for Medicaid and food assistancen as I don't have medical coverage. Ever had to jump through hoops? Thats what this is. :( They tell me this all can take at least several months to complete.

There's not much to do here in rural NW Ohio. We do have satelite dish TV (so many repeating programs ). My son did bring up my old XBox 360 after Christmas so that I can play some video games to pass the day/night. Only three games: Halo & Halo Reach, and Madden Football.

I get to the public library about once a week, no particular day, to use the internet. I do still try to spend as much time here on ECF as much as possible when I do get online. Good to know that I am missed and remembered. :)

Good to hear that you're at least still treading water! And I'm sure you're doing what you can to help out around your brother's place.

One suggestion on all the forms - keep copies of all of them. Makes it easier to redo when they tell you they lost it. (And also helps you be consistent between all of 'em!)

I hope you find a job and can get back online permanently. My without you here stupidity is taking over.

No kidding! Seems to be a huge increase in the number of 0.0001 vapers with the advent of all the small high power boxes flooding the market. (And does anyone really know the amp limits on them? Sure, they SAY they'll fire 0.5, but they don't say how many times  )

Oh I know all those sub sub sub ohm vapers who go out and buy 150 watt mods, put in cheap batteries and hope for the best. I'm sure the emergency rooms are getting more business. I use a whopping 8.2 watts on my Kayfun.
