Badtasteing atty

I got a new atty that has a horrible taste I've tried washing it out under very hot watter and blow drying it vie tried to smoke it out and it still won't go away does any body have any suggestions as to get rid of this taste? It would be greatly appretiated

Try to remove the vig underneath the brige in the atty.
It will get rid of the bad / burned taste im sure

take it and give it a few dips in everclear or vodka.. let it dry..

then hook it to the battery, flood it.. put 8 drops of liquid on it.. push the button to heat the liquid some..

take the atty off and blow the liquid out, blow it out from the cart end.

put it back on the battery, then try it..

What does it taste of?

If it's a heavy carbon sourish taste, it'll go away on its own. If it tastes like rotten meat, then there's probably a dead squirrel under the bridge...

It's probably the machine oil or primer liquid that they come saturated with (some worse than others).

I really wish they didn't do this. I have found that the only way is to swish it around in alcohol but that still won't get it all out, and you have to kind of burn it off. So puff on it without breathing it in until it goes away. One atomizer I had to puff on like this maybe 100~200 times until it went away. But using alcohol should take those numbers down.

If you pull out the plastic threads under the bridge you will more than likely either completely ruin the atomizer, or make it work poorly. Those poly threads are flame ......ant, that is not where the awful taste if coming from. Those threads help wicking into the atomizer.
