alright guys. I am struggggggglin. I have this 14500 bagua clone from my local B&M. it is my only vape for bugetary reasons. I have a very bland generic dripper that I dont even know the name of. looks like a phoenix maybe.

anyway. I am having serious firing issues. sometimes it will fire. sometimes not. sometimes the batter gets super hot. sometimes not. sometimes i get great vape. sometime not. I am really stuck and could use some guidance.

I have cleaned my connections. cleaned the batteries in my switch. made sure contact was solid with the floating center pin and whatnot. I am really at a loss for anything else I can try.

Anyone have this vape or style of vape with a similair issue? i couldnt find it searching anywhere. Thanks in advance for the love guys. love being a part of this commmunity

did you check your post screws on the atty, make sure there snug & nothing is touching that shouldn't....or you could have tightened your coil legs to much and they broke inside the post...also try another atty if ya got one and see if it does the same thing.......process of elimination.......just a thought

yeah i dont have another atty unfortunately. I simply cant afford any new components at the moment or id go out and grab an awesome 18350 setup or something or a bomb new atty. i messed with the floating pin a bit to make sure that was ok. i think it may have to do with the switch. when its pressed in sometimes it goes great...sometimes if i press on the side a bit more that works better. sometimes it will stop firing mid vape after having started out great

i mean its just the coil that the guy at the b&m put in there. i just had my failed coil attempt replaced by them on sunday morning. i guess its like .9 ohms or something like that. maybe 1.0

just tried something really silly to see...opened up the locking ring...placed the mod standing on my desk...it started going. hit it. awesome vape...hmmmm

it never used to be that way before. and im a big dude lol. im like squeezing the switch. maybe i should stop complaining pony up and get a new mod

Edit: any thoughts on this subject? I enjoy the 14500 mod because of its small form factor. should i try another atty before i try another mod?

I ran across the same problem on my friends Bagua 14500 clone. Switch would only fire when pressed just the right way. The issue turned out to be the locking ring was too wide and would not allow the bottom pin to contact the battery properly. I took the switch apart and removed the locking ring, then put it back together (san lock ring) and it fired perfectly every time. Reduced the height of the locking ring on a belt sander and put it back together and it has been working ever since. Don't know if this is your problem or if it is common since I've only worked on the one Bagua, but it's easy enough to test the mod without the ring. So give it a try and let us know what happens.

would need to be a pretty small spring yeah? like from a ballpoint pen?

i used a battery contact spring out of a portable aquarium pump in my novice...had to reshape it a bit but it works fine.....was thinking about a small mag light spring

ride up to home depot or the hardware and get a small brass spring
